Director Replaced on GRADUATE Update!?

Poor Ted Griffin (writer of Oceans 11, Oceans 12, Matchstick Men), last week he was booted off his directorial debut. ?The film is an untitled, non-sequel, sequel to the 60's masterpiece, the Graduate. ?Rob Reiner will replace Griffin.

Jennifer Aniston, Shirley MacClaine, and Mark Ruffalo make up the cast. ?Griffin was supported by the film's producers, George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, so its a bit of a mystery as to why Griffin was fired. ?Ed Lachman, the director of photography was also fired. ?Lachman has been Soderbergh's DP before on the Limey and Erin Brockovich. ?

The story centers around Aniston's character discovery that her grandmother was the real-life basis for the Mrs. Robinson character in the film, the Graduate.
