Lions Gate Films has decided to make a sequel to the hit horror thriller "Cabin Fever," according to MovieHole. ?The studio is looking at a 2005 release.
The original, written and directed by Eli Roth, was released in 2002. ?There is no word yet on whether Roth will be involved in the sequel, but principal casting should be simple since everyone in the first film died.
"Cabin Fever" told the story of frisky hotties, a flesh-eating virus, and a trip to the woods that goes terribly and entertainingly awry. ?Roth did an excellent job of paying homage to the cult and classic horror films while simultaneously turning the genre on its rotting head.
