According to reports and rumours plastered all over the internet Orlando Bloom will play a young James Bond in a new film about the secret agent's college days. The Evening Standard yesterday said that the British actor has signed up with Miramax to star in the film. The author, Ian Fleming, never really got into this period of his character 's life, but he did mention in 'You Only Live Twice' that Bond attended Fettes College, having been expelled from Eton.

This comes as little surprise after Peirce Brosnan announce he was turning in his 007 badge.

God that kid is cute. I mean, just look at that picture of him. Too bad he's just a mediocre actor.

I am not much of a fan for James Bond films but how many Bond films will there be like forever? Well anyways its good to see that there are new plans for a James Bond film and this time around they are looking for a younger Bond....kool.

Bond is timeless, that's the joy of it. I hope they never stop making them, or at least only leave gaps no more than 10 years between movies.

Orlando Bloom is a great actor. Let's see you get up and be in a movie. Crap, do you freaking know how hard it is to get into Guildhall? SUPER HARD. So before you go and judge his talent, why don't you go take a look in the mirror.
