In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Pierce Brosnan broke the news that "Die Another Day" would be his final appearance as James Bond. ?Make way for the Bond-casting rumor mill and peanut gallery.

The first time Connery quit the franchise he was offered more money and then miraculously found it in him to play Bond again. ?If Brosnan is holding out for more money, we may yet see him in the 21st James Bond movie, due out in fall of 2005. ?Barring that, producers will be in search of a new 007 to star in that film. ?Who, though? ?Christian Bale? ?Cuba Gooding Jr.? Russell Crowe? ?Dick Clark? ?Only time will tell.

I've always thought Brosnan made a good Bond and would have liked to see him play the role one more time. However, there is only one actor to play the next Bond and that is Clive Owen.

I always thought the only reason he did those BMW films was because he was trying to actract the attention of the 007 filmakers.
