Three out of four of the title quartet have been cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ?The Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and the Human Torch now have live-action faces. ?There are still several possibilities for the Invisible Woman.
Michael Chiklis (TV's "The Shield") will play the Thing.
Ioan Gruffudd ("King Arthur") will play Mr. Fantastic.
Chris Evans ("Not Another Teen Movie") will play the Human Torch.
The Invisible Woman is still up for grabs, but sources are reporting that Jessica Alba ("Honey") is a strong contender. ?Rachel Macadams ("The Hot Chick") and Keri Russell ("We Were Soldiers") are also being considered.
20th Century Fox is billing "Fantastic Four" as the "the last great jewel in the comic book crown." ?As such, they are putting a lot of emphasis on the importance of casting.
The Fantastic Four are astronauts who get radiated and gain super powers. ?Their arch-nemesis is a mad scientist named Doctor Doom. ?The film will be directed by relative newcomer Tim Story. ?It is due out next year.

Since I'm a comic book fan ofcourse I love the fantastic four but right now I have little doubt the movie will be good because of the lame director horrible cast and low budget its a shame they let anyone do a Marvel Comics movie now a days.

The film will flop because the Fantastic Four are some of the less realistic characters from the Marvel Universe.
Shame they chose them considering the amount of heroes they could have done.

It's not the fantastic four thats bad its the fact that they chose the worst director, cast and budget for example even Spider-Man 2 had a $200 million budget while fantastic four is struggling to even get $90 million budget also the director Tim Story has only directed the film Barbershop and an action science fiction film is too much for him and also the character Ben Grim is at least 32 years old and 6" tall but Micheal Chicklis differs incredibly and who knows what horrible actor they will choose to play Dr. Doom.

I just hope they don't cast Jessica Alba as Sue Storm also FF may not make alot of money because they plan to release it together with Mission Impossible 2.

It has just been confirmed that Jessica Alba will play the Invisible Woman in the new Fnatastic Four movie now it is truly going to be a terrible terrible movie everyone.
