Why aren't there any pictures of the Nemesis on the internet? I've seen one picture and it sucked... Chris needs to be in Resident Evil 2, Other then Jill Valentine, Chris makes Resident Evil. If you've seen the latest teaser trailer, you would know that Nemesis definitely looks like one badass motherfucker with his rocket launcher.

In addition, I think that for this particular film, adding Chris would be a mistake. Most gamers have already identified the series with Jill, and since Alice is in there as well, another character would mean not enough time devoted to each character.

to anyone who cares to know, i live in toronto ontario canada, where they filmed the newest resident evil movie.
to be more specific, it was filmed at my school, central tech (the basement mainly, its huge), and to answer a few questions, the nemisis monster looks amazingly like the game version (though i agree, this isnt following a game, and it shouldnt, it will only dissapoint you if you look at it like a remake of something), and mila definatly looks hot in a towel (even more so in the flesh)

ok honestly...am i the only one paying attention? i actually think the concept for this movie was a very genuine idea. It's not replacing the story of the video games, it's showing other characters and another side of the same story. I mean the people in the video games aren't the only heroes that we know of. And with the second one including Jill, Carlos, and company from RE3, i think it's very innovative. So honestly, it's not butchering the genuine plot line, it's adding to it.

so i'm reading that Capcom is actually quite impressed with how this storyline from the movie has turned out, and they've read and given their seal of approval and endorsement for all three RE movies thus far. And if anyone's paying attention...re4, umbrella's already been destroyed in this new game. Maybe Capcom will actually lend a hand to the movies and give Alice the final blow to Umbrella? i believe a movie showing all of the main characters from the games so far all together storming Umbrella and fucking those bitches up..would be cool.yeah?

Don't people realize how lame it could be to cut and paste game plot into a film? When Paul W.S. Anderson directed the first one, he did an interview saying that he wanted to create completely original characters and plotline. At first I was like, why? Then he said that if he based a movie right off a game with the same characters, people who played the games would already know how the damn thing turns out (i.e. who lives and dies). first of all, alone in teh dark was the first survival horror game, resident evil just brought a bigger audience. i love resident evil, but this anderson guy hasn't got a fucking clue. when people say they want it like the games, they mean a good story well told, and i don't think this anderson guy can accomplish that. he's murdering what's left of the alien and predator franchises too. i really hope the movie is better than the first one, and not another excuse for ott action scenes.

whether the movie is going to suck or not, is not my debate, but to belate the movie because its premise is not a literal translation of the game is absolutely ludacris. The movie shows not just another perspective of the games, but its actually a side story running along with the games, and with this sequel ties the two stories together

What people dont relize is that the first resident evil movie was a pre-quil to the game resident evil zero its supposed to be exactly what caused the accident thats why the first movie isn't based on any of the games characters. I just wanted to post my opinion since there are so many negative ones. I agree that the movies and games should stay seperate to make things more interesting, as well as the adding of Alice to the mix of the RE story. Remember that there are new games comming out featuring all new characters, frankly I don't see how a new character in a RE movie is any different. As far as the movies not being like the games, take a good look at the Tomb Raider stuff, the movie was based off of the original games, but aren't exactly like the games.
I play the RE games religiously and see no reason why the games and movies should be exactly the same. I'm excited to see the new movie and Nemesis looks very interesting. Also keep in mind the reason his height is so strange is because Eric Mabius from the first movie is playing him. Enjoy the movies and games for what they are, I know I will!

Man, you really have no idea what you are taking about: RE DID NOT created the Survival Horror genre, it was created years before by some dude who made the game "alone in the Darkness", a not so popular game wich gained more fame with the modern consoles a couple years ago; second, if you look carefully in the entire credits list, you'll notice the name Yoshiki Okamoto, producer of the ENTIRE RESIDENT EVIL SAGA, even the REMAKES, he is ALSO PRODUCING this film and produced the first Resident Evil movie, so, this means, the movies are being watched very carefully by the owners of the franchise

By the way, i just saw the new trailer of the movie, and I think the movie is gonna be cool, a lot of action and action scenes, just like the games, wich, don't are quite "horrorifying" as they are called; and I am a great fanatic of the series, I just bought a Game Cube to play the games, and a cople years ago I also bought a Dreamcast just to play the Code: Veronica; now, i own that game in my PS2, and I love it

So, why are people still convinced or bent on having the movies exactly like the game? Im still lost at that.

The movies arent a prequel to RE: 0. Basically, the movies are a total other set of RE- like another version. Or spin-offs of the original RE games.

Again, why would you want the movies exactly like the game? That's unoriginal and very stupid. Thats just cut and paste. No one wants to see that.

Why would someone want the movie to be just like the game? Eh, perhaps because they LIKE the game? It's like saying why would anyone want a movie to be just like the comic book or the TV show.

true the movies shouldnt be just like the games. But for the love of god at least have the same people from the game in the. I still like the movie but it does piss me off how the 1 movie dosent take place in the mansion that was the main key for RE. So people look at it both was. It is something new. But they should have based it better.

all the great debates about resident evil could go on and on like a political fillabuster but for what? we all agree that we love the games.
STREET FIGHTER was a silly parody really designed for kids. the the Japanese ANIME dis far beter justice. BUT HERE AGAIN is 2 different perspectives on a game presentation.
MORTAL COMBAT on the other hand was all ASS KICKING serious. Sometimes you can't call it. But RESIDENT EVIL on the other hand is too large a franchise to argue about. the best thing to do is make 10 movies (EACH BEING BETTER THAN THE LAST) then round it off with a real tight to death tv series with spin offs left and right
like the whole STAR TREK phonomenon.(star trek,the next generation,deep space nine,voyager & enterprise.)
This will please R.E.fans and satisfy all atitudes - except the occasional BITCH AND COMPLAINER.

The thing about RE is that it's a game that's heavily influenced by many classic zombie and horror movies. In a game this works well but when you've got a movie based on a game influenced by other movies then it doesn't quite work so well.

I also played al the Mario games, but still the movie sucks.

I don't want to eb a a$$ hole here, but that the games is great is not going to make a movie better. we can only hope that this time this is not going to be a worst movie that the last one

I found this form looking for where RE.A was going to be filmed. Unfortunitly half of you people are mental about the whole thing. You know you need a life when you scream and sware over people's opinions, Over a movie. As you will with mine. take some Midol and chill out. ITS A MOVIE!!! Hey, when I found out The producers of the "Evangelion" (live action movie)were fucking things up. I got over it, not bitched and wrought to people who could'nt give a rats ass! It's good that they have Nemesis on the second RE movie instead of the third. I hope you guys made Nemesis stronger than he is on the game. He's not weak it's just that he itsn't much of a fighter or very powerful.

for you guys that think the movie sucked and part 2 will as well and that it didnt folow the game storyline have you thought about reading the fucking books maybe they use the book storyline.
