JACK BLACK on KING KONG

"King Kong is going to be scary as hell, dude." ?Jack Black reveals a little about Peter Jackson's "King Kong." ?Will his comic acting ruin the horror? ?Will there be any horror to begin with? ?Will Naomi Watts wear a white shirt and fall into a pond? ?It's all good news.

Some fans were worried that his slapstick approach might ruin what would otherwise be a serious movie. ?Not so, according to Black. ?"There are some funny things about my character but, yeah, it is a different thing for me," he told MTV.

In addition, Black revealed that the giant ape is going to be less than cuddly. ?"He's a fucking carnivore, as in, eats flesh!" ?The promise of a bloodthirsty, murderous ape makes the upcoming film that much more appealing.

Black's co-stars for "King Kong" are Naomi watts ("The Ring"), Adrien Brody ("The Pianist"), and Andy Serkis ("Lord of the Rings" as Golem for the motion capture). ?Serkis will be playing the giant ape and will have another, smaller role as a human for once. ?"King Kong" hits theaters next year.
