Honkie, Kevin Smith may not direct GREEN HORNET

Fans may be upset to hear that large white guy Kevin Smith is having second thoughts about directing the upcoming Green Hornet, which he is also writing.

According to the Empire Online, Smith told fans during a talk in the UK that he was going to stand by his previous assertion that he cannot direct action movies:

I think the way around it is just not to direct it because otherwise I'm going to have to recant, and fuck that! Honestly, I signed on to Green Hornet to write and direct it at a time where I don't know what I was thinking. I was just like, 'Someone wants to give me a comic book movie? Wow.'

He went on (butchering English grammatical laws) to say:

Now I would like to write it but I don't know about directing, because a) I'm too lazy to direct an action movie but b) I never got into this business to make a movie like that. . . I like movies where people sit around and talk. I never got into this business to blow shit up or make people run.

Who will direct if Smith does not? (Someone capable of directing?) ?No one knows. ?According to Smith, however, producer Harvey Weinstein does not want Smith to decide whether or not he will direct until after he has finished writing the movie. ?Weinstein was supportive of Smith's reluctance, saying that he understood. ?He then told Smith that wearing clamdiggers makes one look foolish.
