McG, the hyper-kenetic, flashy, and lame ass fool director (Charile's Angels flicks) who seems to have been taught everything he knows by stupid-fuck, honkie untalented director Michael Bay (Bad Boys, Armageddon), is about to commercialize the hizzle out of Superman. Read about his plans. Thankfully, they no longer include Beyonce Knowles.

No matter how stupid it sounds, it will still be a hundred times better than the ultimate fuck-up: Daredevil. Man, that movie was screwed before it ever hit the theatres.
He ain't no Chris Reeves

Who the fuck is Henry Cavill and what is McG doing directing Superman?
Christopher Reeves would do better from his wheelchair.
Daredevil looked so stupid I didn't even consider watching it for a second.
Thankfully, they no longer include Brendan Fraser and Ashton Kutcher. I'm with Random Shit #1. Give me back Beyonce!
Ugh! I hate that Henry Guy's smile!

While I may also disapprove of Joseph Nichol (I want to refuse to call him McG) and his casting decisions, as always I barrage of useless trivia collected off the internet to answer your question:
Who the fuck is Henry Cavill and what is McG doing directing Superman?
1. Henry Cavill
Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill Grew up in Jersey in Great Britain, a small island in between England and France. He had a almost mention-worthy role in The Count of Monte Cristo as Albert Mondego, Merced?s' Son but otherwise never really did much but still seems to be rising to success. No, he ain't no Chris Reeves.
2. What is McG doing directing Superman?
This Superman movie has had a rough time getting off the ground since it's early pre-production in the mid-90's when Nicolas Cage was attached as the title role. At one point rumours claimed that Kevin Smith had been hired to write the screenplay, and Tim Burton was also briefly attached to the project. Then in September 2002 Brett Ratner was officially named director of Superman V. While the project was under Brett Ratner's supervision, actors Josh Hartnett, Paul Walker, Matthew Bomer, Brendan Fraser, Ashton Kutcher, David Boreanaz, Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill and Jerry O'Connell were considered for the part of Superman and Anthony Hopkins was set to play Jor-El of Krypton. Sad news came in March 2003 when Brett Ratner left the project primarily because he and the Warner Bros. executives could not agree on who to cast as Superman. Hopkins would not work without Ratner directing. After a few months of no strong news in July 2003 McG was hired on to helm the doomed project shortly after the box office success of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
Oh, and incase nobody remembers: Bruce Willis was also once
rumoured to be playing Lex Luther.
Blam!

McG? Whatever.
Casting is beyond important in these Superhero flix. Remember Collin Farrel getting the role as Bullseye in Daredevil, that was painful, very, very painful, and hurtful. Not to mention the talentless Michael Clark Duncan, and the utterly worthless Ben Affleck.
Super Man deserves someone of Great stature in the industry, perhaps Leo or Tobey.
I kid.

Here is the PEOPLE'S choice for the Fantastic Four cast:
Reed Richards: Ed Harris
Johnny Storm: Jared Leto
Sue Storm: Alyssa Milano
Ben Grim/Thing: Russell Crowe
Victor Von Doom: Ben Kingsley
Rumor has it that everyone's favorite: Bruce Campbell will be playing: Plastic Man in the 2006 movie.

Kevin Smith DID write a Superman Lives screenplay, it's on the net somewhere. Charlies Angels 2 was one of the worst films I've seen in years, they just can't let this hack anywhere near Superman.

Although I'm not too sure about THAT guy playing the man of steel I'm still quite in favour of a relative unknown getting the role. Afterall, Christopher Reeve was cast with this in mind originally as the filmmakers believed that if they'd cast a famous actor it would have made it harder for the audience to accept him as Superman. Their decision payed off back then so I say go with the same idea now.
Whats up with this fuck saying?

i agree tom welling is the best choice for the new superman movie. i think the cast of smallville:superman the early years have identified with the caracters of superman. it would be stupid making a big buget superman film now and haveing new characters take over the roles.
they shoild transfer the series on to a big buget movie version of superman. hey speaking of big buget remakes anyone remember thundercats?? now that would be a serious remake.

I agree that Welling should be kept as the star as Superman. It wouldnt make sense to do different. In any case it is going to be fucked up and in conclusion Dean Kain should play the part. And to just finish off the Superman trilogy I think they should have just kept the Batman vs. Superman movie on instead of making seperate movies. At least this way Batman could have just killed Superman off and finished the Superman Trilogy off!

To start a T.V. with the story of Superman and than turn around and have a different person play the role of Superman in the new movie is stupid because the public is use to the person on the T.V. show.
