Why did they pick Doc Ock, I think it'll be good but I think Electro would have been more visually exciting.  I mean, you could modify his suit to make it look high tech, and lightning could shoot out everywhere, and the final fight scene could be shot in the rain, and SpiderMan gets even more hurt because of it.

Personally I think Dr Octupus will be immense seeing what i have of the trailers.  Do you think in the Third they will have the king pin or Electro or even Venom.  If they had Venom they shouldn't introduce Carnage untill a later oner cos three characters with the same (roughly) abilities would get a bit cramped in a 2 hour film.
The more I think about it the more I think the casting for the films has been so far spot on.
Toby Miguire and Kirsten Dunst in particular work really well, and I think its cool how Dr Octupus does just look like a normal guy with massive tentacles stuck to him rather than some kind of muscle bound villian.

On a completly different note away from films has any one played street fighter 3 alpha and know how to beat Shin Akuma when played by a human i.e someone has unlocked him.  I can't find any decent sites that will tell me.

Things are unfolding accurately to my own predictions. When I first heard about the Spidey sequel, I considered all the possibilities. I knew right away that the character Harry Osborn would play a vital role. My half-assed prediction was that Harry and Doc Ock would conspire against Spidey.  However, I also thought that Harry, using his resources at OsCorp would actually create the Venom Symbiote to kill Spiderman (Based on 2 factors. 1. Harry vows revenge on spidey in the first movie. 2. In the first movie the character Eddie Brock (VENOM) is breifly mentioned. This leads me to believe that Eddie will make an appearance before long.

They have already scheduled a Spiderman 3 so we'll see if these predictions will unfold.

I look forward to #2 because it won't rely on cramming different story aspects into a single movie like the first one did.

i feel that j. jonah's son will play a part in bringing the venom symbiote to earth, being that he's an astronaught and all.  In the original spidey cartoon on fox, thats how the writers introduced the black costume without having to explain the secret wars.  just a thought

yo bruv. dey wont bring da kingpin in da third coz ez already been put in daredevil, so dey sed dat dey will bring venom, da green goblin ( which will b harry osborn) in da third n mayb sum 1 else. dey fought of bringin doc ock bk aswell but dere not totally sure.
