Quentin Tarantino told Reuters that he plans to approach the producers of the Bond films with plans to make the Ian Fleming book "Casino Royale" into a new 007 movie.

Tarantino said that he ran into the latest James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, and Brosnan seemed interested in the idea.

"Casino Royale" was made in 1967 as a Bond spoof starring David Niven and Peter Sellers that had little similarity to the book that it was based on. ?Tarantino intends to remake it sticking closer to the Ian Fleming story.

Who would be bond?
Knowing Tarintino it would be a choice between Samuel Jackson and Micheal Madason.
Seriously though any ideas?

Well, it does say that he spoke to Pierce Brosnan about it and he said he was interested. Besides, I think Brosnan is contracted to one more film.

To know Brosnan is part of the project, one would have had to read the article, and South Americans are far too stupid to do that. They need colorful pictures, and coke.

I love coke! But it's got to be diet. As for the next Bond, well the popular opinion is that it's got to be Clive Owen, he just seems perfect for the role.

Bond was once a great on-going series. The womanizing secret agent was smooth and cool. Those days are long gone, Brosnan has the looks, but not the tude. Enter: Paul Reubens!
