The Good. The Bad. And the Maybe.
The Good - Everyone?s favorite Kryptonian despot, Terrence Stamp, has joined the cast of Elektra. This casting adds some credibility to an iffy film project. Another bit of good news for Elektra fans is the rumor that the script is being based on the epic Frank Miller classic, Elektra Assassin, story arc.
The Bad - Scoring genius Graemme Revell has left his musical duties on the soon to bomb Catwoman. Graemme's inclusion as the film's scorer was possibly the only bit of good news coming from this film. Scoring duties have fallen to Klaus Badelt, the man behind Pirates of the Caribbean and The Time Machine. Best of luck friend.
The Maybe - Acclaimed artist Alex Ross has drafted two completely unofficial and noncommissioned pieces of art showing Smallville's Tom Welling as the adult Man of Steel. Ross states that Warner Brothers in no way asked for these drawings and that he made them for his own benefit. This is too bad, as a fan of the WB program; I believe Tom Welling makes an excellent young Clark Kent and would be a natural choice for the adult Superman in a few years. We shall see...
