The big-screen take on comic-book superhero Hellboy opened at number one beating out the The Rock's new pic, Walking Tall this weekend with $23.5 million. This weekend's other openers, Disney's animated cow tale Home on the Range was fourth, followed by the teenage love story The Prince and Me.
Aprils are a usually slow time of year, rarely do we see five movies top the $10 million mark. As a matter of fact, business is 39.3% better than this time last year. Overall the top 12 movies grossed an estimated $114.5 million--another up week for the industry.
Here are the top 10 weekend films, as compiled by Exhibitor Relations:
1. Hellboy, $23.5 million
2. Walking Tall, $15.3 million
3. Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, $15 million
4. Home on the Range, $14 million
5. The Prince & Me, $10 million
6. The Passion of the Christ, $9.8 million
7. The Ladykillers, $7 million
8. Jersey Girl, $5.1 million
9. Dawn of the Dead, $4.3 million
10. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, $3.5 million

Believe it or not, Hellboy will be back!James Cameron wants to close the saga along with the creaters of (Torque,and The Fast and the Furious).Thats right to more films on the way.For Questions email me.

Hello....I haven?t seen such a greatest movie like "HELLBOY" in my life, and I am impressed. Wow I mean wow what a great movie. The action scenes were superb with some ass kicking actions. Hellboy movie is definitely the Hollywood greatest movie ever. I think the movie will be amazing if the Hollywood makes the movie with the very best of the best Visual effects. After watching the movie, I Baseer Ahmed felt like I myself is "Hellboy." As my Baseer Ahmed opinion, I think "HELLBOY" is the best movie ever. Period. --WOW--
