I, ROBOT 1st Full Trailer Online

The storyline is damn familiar and the one-liners are feeling especially tired in this typical, Will Smith, summer action pic (not a whiff of intelligence). ?The robots look cool enough, but I'm a little worried about I, Robot.

Take the name and 1-2 pages from a clasic book, stir in a big name and you have a movie!

It looks like Hellboy used the same formula.

From the looks of the trailer it looks like this starts off like the book and then deviates slightly as the robots all become evil and Will Smith has to save the world.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE AND LIVE WITH SENTIANT BEINGS AND WHEN D0 THOSE BEINGS BECOME WORTHY OF HUMAN RIGHTS, TURNS INTO WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO UNDERUSE A GREAT IDEA. WHY ARE DIRECTORS NEVER ASKED WHY THEY SIMPLIFY A STORY THEY FOUND SO COMPELLING IN ITS ORIGINAL COMPLEXITY, TO THE EXTENT THE IDEA IS LOST AND NO ONE ASKS TO HEAR IT AGAIN.

When I first heard the title, I thought it must be a biography of Will Smith, or maybe a dissertation of his acting style.
And after seeing the trailer, I can't decided what looks phonier: the robots or Will.

Well said, William. I believe you have accurately summed up my feelings about this film. I'm betting it's not even worth a rental.

As far as i can tell u havnt even seen the film just wachted the trailor. U cant judge the hole film on this. I think its great and will smith is great playing Detective Spooner
