Bryan Singer, damn fine and talented director (see X-Men 1 & 2, Usual Suspects), has agreed to develope and direct a remake of the geek, sci-fi, seventies classic Logan's Run. ?Based on the book by William F. Nolan, the story centers on a society that euthanizes everyone on their 21st birthday. ?
Logan, a police officer who tracks others down, decides to run to save himself (Minority Report?) and search for Sanctuary, a mythical place where elders grow old. ?In Singer's skilled hands, this project should get a great makeover.
* Let's hope this doesn't interfere with Singer's rumored plans to shoot X-MEN 3 and 4 at the same time.

I could swear that the age in which people were euthanized was 30 years old. I'm almost positive.
