Her celeb friends sent video messages. ?One of them, a odd, strange, sado-masochistic-looking one was from Halle Berry in her Catwoman outfit. ?This buzz on this flick just keeps getting worse and worse. ?This smells like Batman and Robin.

halle is not a real respectable woman. after seeing (and cringing i might add) to monster's ball, i lost ALL my respect for her. what happened to the REAL black actresses, ie: angela bassett? she was offered that role but she said no but e! said it was a mistake. to me, as a STRONG BLACK WOMAN (and yes i use the internet), found what angela said was the best statement ever. she said that she REFUSED (look at that word folks!) to play a role that requires her to have her naked. why would she have to degrade herself to get an oscar? although she's been playing a hell of a good job at a lot of wifey-roles (malcolm x, jackson 5, etc.) it's time for hollywood to look at black actresses the same way they do white actresses--and take them seriously, along with black-socially conscious movies too. many of us are being video-hos (no disrespect to them but i am sick and tired of seeing and hearing the same sh-t all the time...money, drugs, violence, hos) and not being out there as good role models, just like angela bassett. i know there is more but when i think of the words "respect and class," SHE comes to mind, not no f--king halle!

The costume design is awful...that's one of the main parts, right? It's called "Cat Woman" so that means we're going to pay some $9 to see some lady in a cat-woman outfit walk around and claw people for the majority of the film....so we WANNA see a decent design. *pleads* It seems like the writers are so proud for having made Cat Woman a thing of 'diversity' that now they want to make sure that they get their point across by showing off all of her skin. It's disgusting and totally degrading. Not to women...but to FASHION. Who cares if her boobies hang out...I say, let the shit jiggle. But as long as the costume looks good....but it DOESN'T. The film looks cheap and so does her outfit. They should've kept the outfit she originally had in Batman Returns (that was the 'koolest'). Plus, I find it really annoying that they didn't choose a black actress that really LOOKS black. I think that the only reason they picked her was because she IS black...but not to the point where she's anything really beyond a sorority girl with a spring break tan. I'm all for the diversity thing...but you can only make so many characters African American or Asian American until the world of Marvel & DC is just some giant episode of Captain Planet and its politically correct Planeteers. If you want diversity...then make some new characters that ARE....and drop some of the stupid Caucasian mutants that no one gives a damn about anyhow. If you want diverse...then make it diverse and stop making the racial implementation such a controversial issue. If Spiderman turns out to be a crippled Native American Hermaphrodite in a wheel cheer, then we've all got some serious issues. And pimpin' out Halle like she's the only black actress....*shakes head*...tisk, tisk. Someone didn't do their homework first.
