Rumors that B-Lo Affleck is suddenly not interested in reprising his crap role in the crap sequel to the crap film DareDevil. ?Apparently he'll do it if Kevin "Talentless Fat Ass" Smith writes the script and/or "is involved," but isn't that psyched about the possibilities.
He mentioned to Sci-Fi Wire, "You'll know my career is really on the slide when I start resurrecting the franchise." ?What a boner.

Daredevil was not a good adaptation of the classic comic book, and a big part of that equation starts with a horrible cast, and centers on Ben Affleck, who in a word: sucked.
I for one think James Spader should reprise the role of Murdock, as far as The man with no fear goes, he's in a costume so any agile athlete could take the role. Also it should be noted that the Kingpin is white, and that Bullseye is not a midget irishman.

Daredevil was a better adaptation of comic books than Spiderman or Hulk, with the exception of the stupid fight scene with Murdock and Elektra in the park.
But yes, Kevin Smith is funny and "Jay & Silent Bob strike back" was hilarious.

I know i'm almost certainly not alone in this,but,i've been collecting DD for 10(+) years and yesi think Ben Affleck SUCKED!!The ONLY actor suitable to play an effective Matt Murdock is GUY PIERCE!!! Why hasn't he even been mentioned?Memento was great but his natural 'look' IS Matt Murdock.I say 'natural look' because of the unnecessary mistake that was a helmet for the green goblin in spiderman.C'mon,isn't Willem Dafoes' FACE enough?

ok, ive read this entire argument and there are lots of valid points, but because u r all so fucking opinionated u wont take into consideratinon other opinions and argue against them, instead u just shunt them and push ur opinions forward. Agreeing with an earlier point i'd have to say that Daredevil is as good as true comic adaptations come (i know, ive been a fan for some time) and lots of the shots are recognisable from previous comics. However, hollywood films are made for money and so have to be adapted to suit everybody, not just Daredevil fans. This, in turn, usually brings in big names among hollywood to play lead parts, personally i think Ben Affleck is an accomplished actor but did a bad job in Daredevil, he seemed flat and false and was outshone by the rest of the cast (who all suited their roles, i feel) if kevin Smith were to participate in the next film it could bring more humour and nice touches but might deter slightly from the original themes of Daredevil. He is superb at comedy and Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma are all brilliant. Jay and Silent Bob stirke back was made entirely for profit purposes and i didn't enjoy it half as much as the others

I truely think that the original DD movie was, in terms of celuoid comic book translations a very good attempt at bringing the magic of the drawings to the screen. Hey I have went threw all of everyones coments and i would just like to say the if they get rid of ben affleck it won't be the same. I hate when they do that in movies it takes away the emotion and the feeling between the characters. so i don't really read comics much or know that much about daredevil but if garner comes back and their is a new character to replace ben affleck then the movie won't make that much.
