Mr. Myers and his big damn face easily won the box office this weekend, though, the moneymaking studios and "industry analysts" would like for us all to know that box office recipts are down compared to last year. ?Greedy fucks. ?I say we all hold out until a really, really, really good movie comes along. Equally, badly reviewed Gothika came in second with 19.6 million and newborn superstar Will Ferrell's Elf remained damn strong slipping slightly to the number third spot, with 19.1. ?Revolutions is quickly slipping into its 125 million-dollar grave, pulling in a measly (measly for the greedy fucks!) 6 million.
The top ten films for the weekend, according to studio estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations:
