Tom Hanks is CG for the Polar Express

Director Bob Zemeckis (Back to the futures, Forest Gump, Cast Away, Roger Rabbit), the guy who pushes open the cheese envelope with every film, has a new flick with his main man Tom Hanks. ?The whole film is being shot in front of blue screens and it looks like every character will be a CG version of themselves. Check the teaser.

that kid is definitely not a cg version of tom hanks,  zemeckis films are not cheesy, and neither is the polar express, so i don't know what you're talking about either.

It came me chills watching the trailor for the movie.  I think Tom Hanks will be great!  I've been teaching this story to my third graders for years and now I'm able to read it to my daughter's kindergarten class.  I can't wait!
