WILL FERRELL, Woody Allen, and Steven Soderbergh

Woody's always untitled, fall project begins shooting this month. The cast is looking as interesting as his latest(the about to be released, and odd "Anything Else"). Chloe Sevigny, Radha Mitchell, Jonny Lee Miller, Amanda Peet, Wallace Sawn, and Vinessa Shaw will join Ferrell in the pic. He stepped in after Woody and Dreamworks balked at the cost of having to insure Robert Downey Jr. ?

An the news blip has just surfaced that Ferrell is going to star in the pulitzer prize-winning comic-drama, "A Confederacy of Dunces." Independently-minded, artistic director David Gordon Green(see George Washington, All the Real Girls, and the soon to be released Undertow) is going to direct the adapted script by Scott Kramer and Steven Soderbergh. ?Mos Def, Lily Tomlin, Olympia Dukakis, and Drew Barrymore will also star.

I hope that the rumor about Farrell playing Ignatius J. Rielly is nothing more than a rumor. I seriouly doubt that he could do justice to the character.

they were filming scenes for the new flick @ Belmont Park racetrack today.  It was fun to watch.

Ferrell is hugely comical but physically I don't see him as the huge ignatius!
