Everybody's making movies out of video games! Now, Majesco has today announced that its vampiric third-person action game BloodRayne is the latest to be signed by German movie production company Boll KG.

as a big fan of the game, i would say there are surlly 80% chance of blood rayne movie. the game is already awsome am sure that the movie will have critics talking about it. Am a vampire freak, i love vampire ganes and movie and i think that bloodrayne was a uge succes!!

Rayne is hot, she kicks some serious *ss and she's hot too! (did i already mention that part?)
I think that the original cast for the game should be the ones that play in the movie (Laura Bailey and Mary Beth Brooks), if not then Kate Beckinsale (Underworld)and Lucy Lu would be a great substitute. I'm a big fan of the game and will probably buy the movie as well. :)

I'll agree that Franka Potente would make a great Bloodrayne, but there is one problem. Franka carries a thick german accent, and Rayne is 100% American. If Franka can lose the accent, then she would be the ulitmate Rayne. Let's face it, she already has the red hair...

From what I've read on the film, this movie takes place before the game as a "prequel" to it. If that is the case, then the sequel, if made, should cover the sixty or so years between the first and second games. What do you think?

I feel the role of Bloodrayne should be played by some chic who's both hotter than hell and has never played a vampire before. My choice would go to either Keira Knightly (Pirates of the Carribean) or Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3).

I think bloodrayne is going to be an awesome movie but the person who should play her is still not decided and accepted by all... I think Milla Jovovich from Resident Evil would make a killer bloodrayne.. She has a great attitude for the part and she also has the body.. I dont think theres anybody else that would be better for the part...

Angelina Jolie should definately not play bloodrayne. The ultimate actress for the part would either be Asia Argento or Kiera Knightly. And the movie better be just like the game and very gory or I will be pissed.

Hey guys any of you remember Uwe Boll? The guy who made the House of the Dead movie. I believe he's directing Bloodrayne... If that's the case then looks like this movie, sad to say, will suck... We have to cross our fingers for this one Bloodrayne fans.

I think the new BloodRayne movie will be great too. The game is fun and is really the basis for the perfect Vampire Vixen. For the role of BloodRayne in the movie I think Either Famke Janssen (Natalya in 007 Goldeneye) or Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) would be great. Instead of slaying Vampires, why not become one?!

I think Lucy Liu would be a great actor for Mynce, as for BloodRayne herself, I just hope its someone sexy and seductive with the perfect hourglass figure, the most perfect set of twins, and tightest firm rear (neither fake at all)! Yeah, that's about it. And also not to be racist, but since Rayne is white in the game, keep her that way!

Sad to say this movie will be completely ruined by its no talent, braindead director Uwe Boll(director of House of the Dead), just look at the reviews and message posts on his last movie here, also a video game adaptation. Uwe Boll wants to F$%% you in the A#$ for your money based on your being a fan of this video game. Infact the movie, like house of the dead, is going to be a "prequel" to the video games. Do some searches on the internet and you'll see how many want this guy dead and out of the movie production business before he ruins more video game movies.

blood rayne game has passed though my pc as well, it was having a big potential but it was played a bit fucked up...theese randoms of actions...not a big deal. I had this sence there will be a movie made out of it, the only thing that might be worthless...but i am not gonna expect anything good from Uwe Boll...that's the fact.
Tim Burton is not very active theese days, I hope it all to be quited and given to him, that man might do a good job about bringing game to a movie, especialy this 1, but he is naturally strange so went backward and cooperated on a game based on a comix...Evil Twin...it was fucking great...but sences r sences, soo what should it be

I'm assuming Von Wulf will be played by Ben Kingsley, he's a really great actor. The cast so far looks pretty good, and the woman who's writing the screenplay also wrote "American Psycho" so maybe those two things can overcome the possible disaster the director can make of it. The characters are great so far in the movie....the movie itself though.. looks like one of those cheaply made shows like the lost world... the camera angles and lighting are both looking pretty bad.... and about the comment on Milla being Rayne.. I THINK NOT... MILLA HAS NO BOOBS!!!! Raynes are huge... so unless they are gonna fill millas leather up with stuffing.. good luck....
