A new alliance between Motorola and digital photography software vendor Flashpoint Technology will let you send digital photos directly from a camera to the Internet over a cellular phone.?The new platform, announced Tuesday, uses cameras that run Flashpoint's Digita software and Internet-ready Motorola phones.?It will be marketed as a Flashpoint accessory, and pricing will be announced upon release in about 90 days.?Ideal for in-the-field professionals such as insurance adjusters, journalists, and real estate brokers, the Flashpoint/Motorola combination lets you use an Internet-ready Motorola iDEN (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) wireless phone as a modem for your camera.?Read more...
