Alan Rudolph's new film, "The Secret Lives of Dentists," has a trailer and various scenes up at its web site. ?If you're a fan of the quiet funk genius that Campbell Scott (see Roger Dodger, The Imposters, Big Night, Singles) holds within, than this flick may prove to rock your freaky little world.
"The Secret Lives of Dentists" also stars Hope Davis, Denis Leary, and Robin Tunney.
If you aren't familiar with Alan Rudolph, you should be. ?A close friend and cowriter to Robert Altman throughout the years, Rudolph directed small and strange little films that don't often get seen as much as they should; ?"Chose Me," Made in Heaven," Mortal Thoughts," "Equinox," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "Afterglow," "Breakfast of Champions," and "Trixie." ?
Some good, some bad, but damn interesting.
