"Tears " floated around in development hell in Hollyweird for years.
Here's another interesting bit of kismet-tinged trivia:
Super director, John Woo had an option to develop the script in mid-nineties but he couldn't get a greelight because his proposed star wouldn't commit. Instead of TOTS, that star went off to do Gilliam's 12 Monkies instead. No it wasn't Bruce Willis, but it was Brad Pitt who turned down Woo. Pitt didn't want to be typecasted in an "action" movie. Stange how that works out isn't it?

the minority report did look really good too and the movie was nothing special.
i surely hope that matrix will be awesome but in 2002 there were too much much good looking trailers and really bad results.
and masterpieces like "spirited away" start in 10 cinemas. hah! that really sucks.
Doesn't stop there..

you think so? i was really disappointed. every nice detail was so short there, it was gone the second you saw it and it is no fun if you have no time to enjoy something. and the cutting was really bad...
but that is just my opinion...

Some parts of 'Minority Report' were pretty good like the scene in the car factory, that was a real throw back to the likes of 'The Temple of Doom'. It was just that it went on longer than it should, just like 'A.I'.
