The Animatrix Preview Trailer

In 2003 Warner Brothers will release a DVD with 9 animated Matrix stories from 7 different directors. Check out the Trailer, you will see that the styles are very different, but very interesting too. While Squaresoft's Episode will be fully 3D, there will be 2D old school anime episodes too. Just watch for yourself and have fun.

boy, after watching this trailer the ninth time, i think the director of "ghost in the shell" is in the team! the 5 frames with the skateboard are totally his own unique drawing style! this will be awesome...

the character designs are not form Masumi Shirow, the production crew in japan is the same as Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust.

if what you mean is mamoru oshii, i think the same way... but who are the other directors?!!  Does squaresoft / square picture have any relations with this project?

Is it just me or do the characters in the 3D clips look just like the ones from Final Fantasy? Not that its a bad thing just thought they looked similar.

squaresoft hase the technik to do such animation.. soo those tools ware designt vor final fantasy. thats why thy look simular..
