In the first Terminator Kyle Reece told the police that no one could come through because the time machine was "smashed".
If the defence grid was destroyed in T1, how could the Terminators in T2 even come, therefore T3 cannot happen....

I think t3 will be classic but nothing will beat t2...its just amazingly great...the whole situtaion and storyline was awesome. and the t-1000 was the best villian ever...so i think t3 will be better then T1 and tied or worse then t2.

In terminator II when in the steal foundry the T-800 takes a beating from the T-1000 later on the T-800 manages to regain alternate power and drags hime self form the floor and uses a steel bar to free his arm from a gear (cog) thus leaving his robotic arm to be descoverd....this is proven in the opening sequences in terminator III.

Hey, has anyone seen T3 or know any top goss on it? Oh, and i heard a rumour that it's based on John owning this Computer system buisiness thing and he hacks into that Cyber company and discovers the "skynet" program. And then the T-800 (Arnie) and the T-X are sent back in time to Kill him and protect him. But i don't understand how Arnie can still be alive, coz like he died in the present, so that measans that he would die in the future too, uh... this is confusing.............And i thought all the machines and Skynet were destroyed, or did they find another piece of machine? Like did they find Arnie's arm or something? Seeing as he broke it off the free himself, when he took a beating from the T-1000 and got his arm stuck in the cog.???? Does anyone know!?!
Oh, and in T2 when that Black dude, the boss of the Cyberdeone company goes into that white hallway where the chips and the robotic arm is kept, because Arnie was sent back in time, does that mean that that arm was his to begin with, and that he bhad already died in the past, they found his arm in the cog, then he came back in time, destroyed the chip and the arm, then he got a thrashing form the T-1000 and his ARM GOT STUCK IN THE COG AGAIn, thus histroy repeated itself paving the way for Skynet to be rebuilt using Arnie's arm!
Uh, is that a little too confusing????

Did it ever occur to anyone that these movies are impossible. No its not the technology, no its not the cyborgs, I love all that stuff. But there is the thing. Kyle Reese is John Conner's dad!....
If you still think its possible I'll explain,
John sent his own dad back to protect his mom (Sarah) who had sex and conviced John with Reese. Which is impossible... How can you send your own father back in time to knock up your mom to allow you to be born....

Ahhhh but how does Kyle know that the time displacment chamber was destroyed after he left!
Surely all he knows is that John and Tech Comm are going to destroy it after he travels back.
If John Conner remembers the t-1000 and TX attacks, he would have known to send back the two T800's to 1994 and 2003, before he destroyed the chamber. Propbably he just did not tell Reese about the subsequent assaination attempts, knowing he was going to die saving sarah and be unable to protect her from the later attacks?
Or Cameron could have just ignored the fact to allow the two sequels movies be made ;-)

Parallel continuems (sp?). You can kill your father before you're born or even be your dad's father if you consider parallel universes. If you were to travel back in time and change anything all you'd do is spawn a new parallel universe in which you didn't exist. You wouldn't affect your own which mean that if time travel is ever realised you will never be able to change your own history. "The past is not set, there is no fate but that which we have already made" to paraphrase...
Indicently why does James Cameron take credit for this story in the DVD when it's inspired by an reeeeally old short story?
