Stargate: SG-1 Movie Updates

GateWorld reports that the script for an SG-1 film has been submitted and a re-write is in progress but no "green light" yet.

So answer me this, cause I didn't watch all Fifth season yet: why the hell did they have to kill Daniel Jackson, and how the hell are they gonna bringing him back?

Enemies : The SG-1 team battles Apophis and the Replicators aboard a doomed ship as Teal?c remains a prisoner of Apophis.
Threshold : Teal?c undertakes the dangerous Jaffa Rite of M?al Sharran in an attempt to free his mind from the hold of Apophis.
Ascension : Carter discovers she has an unusual new friend after blacking out on an alien world.
The Fifth Man : Trapped behind enemy lines, O?Neill refuses to abandon a new team member who might not really be one of them.

Season 5 : Episodes 9-12
Between Two Fires : SG-1 return to Tollan to discover the Tollans have reversed their policy on technology sharing and are now willing to trade advance weaponry with Earth. But Carter?s friend Narim warns that this spells great danger for Earth and the team must return to uncover the real agenda behind the deal...
2001 : SG-1 discover an exciting opportunity to form an alliance with a highly advanced race, who are willing to share their life-extending medical technology. They are the Aschen, the danger from whom we have already seen (2010). Will the truth be revealed before it?s too late for the future?
Desperate Measures : A Russian vehicle is ambushed and its cargo, a Jaffa, is taken. Elsewhere, Carter is also abducted. While investigating, O?Neill is contacted by Col. Maybourne, in whom SG- 1 are forced to trust in order to save Sam and solve the connection to the Jaffa. The trail leads to deadly experiments conducted by a reclusive billionaire.
Wormhole X-Treme : A ship heading for Earth is linked to the pod found through the Alien Marty (Point Of No Return). Investigating what he knows, SG-1 find that Marty has become Consultant on a sci-fi series called Wormhole X-treme!, with a plot-line uncannily like the Stargate programme. Yet Marty has no memory of their past relationship or of the real SGC.

Season 5 : Episodes 13-16
Proving Ground : Col Jack O?Neill is putting some new recruits through their paces. "When you deal with what we deal with, you?ve got to think fast". But one nervous lieutenant?s would-be SG Team is suddenly involved in an exercise which could be the making of them - especially as O?Neill has just been injured in a shoot-out.
48 Hours : After a near-deadly pursuit by gliders and the well aimed destruction of one vessel, the SG-1 Team just manage to leap to safety through the Stargate. However, the craft demolishes the system just as Steel jumps through and he becomes lost in the ether. Steel?s vital energy signature may have been lost. Control faces a terrifying dilemma : "how do we get our people home ?"
Summit : A plan is being mooted which could thwart the ambitions of Goa?uld once and for all. It could involve taking out their entire leadership. A truce has been declared and the Goa?uld are meeting on neutral territory in a place with impenetrable defences. A human is required who can speak fluent Goa?uld and it is Jackson who now faces a crucial mission.
Last Stand : SG-1 personnel are facing a critical situation. Embattled and under siege, Carter is trapped in a tunnel and only the application of crystals can cause the surrounding cave to dematerialise and give them the path of escape they so desperately need. Meanwhile, the balance of life is threatened by the reappearance of Anubis - the earliest of the system lords.

Season 5 : Episodes 21-22
Meridian : Daniel Jackson returns from an off-world diplomatic mission, stricken with radiation poisoning and accused of sabotage by the host government. As Daniel fights for his life, slowly succumbing to the poison ravaging his body, SG-1 struggles to learn the truth of what really happened to him on the planet.
Revelations : SG-1 must mount a rescue mission on an inhospitable planet. Their goal : to save Heimdall, an Asgard scientist, and secure an underground laboratory before they fall into the hands of Anubis. But complications arise in the form of an unexpected wildcard, the Goa?uld threat, and a shocking revelation concerning the Asgard.

Phew...... reading that made me want to smoke a cigarette and fall asleep afterwards.................. Guess I don't have to watch season 5 now. ..............Good spoiler though..................
