Who better to size up Sam Raimi's new Spider-Man flick then Todd McFarlane? He's one of the guys who made "Spidey" who he is. EW has tracked him down and gotten his opinions.

Once again, the legend in his own ,ind Todd McFarlane proves his own stupidity.  The first Spawn movie sucked, so his first reaction is to make a sequel?? MIB the best comic book movie ever??  In my opinion those three should be :
#1: Spider-Man
#2: X-Men
#3: Superman
Sombody needs to tell McFarlane to get his head out of his ...wherever... and gaet a freakin' clue!!

YOU ARE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO GET A CLUE.  THE FIRST SPAWN MOVIE WAS GOOD. NOT GREAT.  THEY STUCK TO THE STORY LINE PERFECTLY, AND HAD MANY WELL KNOWN ACTORS.  JUST LIKE SPIDER-MAN AND X-MEN.  I SUPPOSE YOU ARE GOING TO SAY THAT THE STAR WARS FRANCHISE IS POOR, NEXT.

Todd MacFarlane made improved Spiderman so much. I don't know what you fairies are talking about. Todd MacFarlane is the one whom created hobgoblin, lizard, venom, and made spidey's eyes large, unlike the 60's comics. Todd MacFarlane's drawing skills surpass any current marvel comic artist.

Macfarlane brings mature themes to spiderman and added dark elements to the villians. He fit so many new charactistics and drawing styles to fit each personality of each character.

You guys need to shut the fuck up. I'm not really a fan of spawn comics, but if you don't appreciate the fucking masterpiece art of every single one of those comics then you don't deserve to read comics period - let alone breath or see.
