Artificial Intelligence: The Kubrick Edit

Here's an interesting bit that someone submitted a couple of days ago. As a tribute to Stanley Kubrick, DJ Hupp has re-edited the existing footage of AI in an attempt to create a film that he feels is more consistant with Kubrick's vision of the story.

For once I have to agree with this putz. AI was a really stupid movie. I just got so sick of that little fart Haley Joel Osmand that at the end of it I wanted to kill him myself, maybe turn him into a mobile phone or something useful. Spielberg has lost it, and hee aint ever gonna get it back. The movie was so cut up and didnt flow at all, it was sh*t.

In a society that has become so nerve dead and emotionally stunted, what more could anyone expect? Did you hate the movie because it didn't take you far enough away, or because it brought you too close to emotions you don't understand... either way whatever the addiction, it always takes more to reach half as high.
