No way. Spiderman will be the number 1 box office hit this summer, simply because it is Spiderman. As for the CG, dont forget Spiderman is originally a comic book not a fantasy movie, so it will surely have that rough sketched feel to it. Besides any 3D animator knows that the hardest thing to animate is a human figure, facial expressions etc... Dragons are fairly easy in comparison.

Its just my opinion about the CG, trying to animate human character is a lot harder to capture than anything else in 3D. Thats what makes humans unique, we have so many diferent expressions and poses, its hard to recreate that in a computer, even with motion capture. But hey, you guys obviously know what you are talking about so just leave it that, right PT?
Fred you are a f*cking retarded dipsh*t.

Like I said, there's no prereq. for smarts here.
Perhaps its because I know that people really can't swing on webs or climb buildings as opposed to Dragons which don't exist at all, but the FX for Spiderman look "off" in the trailers. I hope it's something cleaned up for the actual movie.

Skully NOW that is funny. Movies, in essence, tell stories that don't exist either. It's good for coddling the masses too.
Usually when we talk about real things here we all get bent out of shape. It's a nice mix up once in awhile.
