WHAT!!! Did you get into ET by mistake. Blade 2 was better than the original. Yeah, it had hokey character names and the CG wasn't perfectly seamless ( whenever it is, please let me know) but that sucker had more action than most film franchises put together. What could you possibly not like about it?

I loved "Blade 1", it was great. Great story, Great good guy, Awesome bad guy, cool characters all around, great HTH scenes, great score, awesome climax, it was new, original, inventive, had Traci Lords, some kick ass lines, and they stuck to the formula perfectly. Bad Ass Mutha Fuka patroling the streets for suck heads. I loved it!!
"2" in comparison with the original sucked eggs. Some of the fight scenes were cool, but failed in comparison with the first movie. The f/x in 2 were stupid, the characters blew, Whistler went from being this cool old bad ass, to being a waste of time. The story was weak, the "Blood Pack" was more cheezy than Snipes crew in "Demolition Man". SPOILER The scene in the end when Whistler tosses him his shades was very cool, but in the first movie, every battle scene was easy to watch and appreciate, there were more than a few in this one, when it was quite difficult to see what was happening, I hate that. The scene with them being computer generated and doing crazy flips and super high jumps was dumber than sh!t, and how come the Grand Master Vampire in the end didn't have some bad ass vampire body guards, come on, that ending fuking sucked! Power Trip, I'm a fan of "Blade", but not of the sequel. I'm looking forward to "The Black Panther", hopefully they will stick to the proper formula, and get it right.

Point taken SAS. I agree to disagree then. Of course I'm not saying that Blade was bad. I liked it but even Snipes admits in interviews now that the first one was "off" compared to this latest installment.
As for the "Blood Pack" the only audible groan of disgust louder in the theater when that sh!tty plot device was introduced was during the trailer for "Triple X."
Otherwise, I thought the movie overall was very entertaining compared to the first. I liked and very much appreciated the fight scenes being more complex. I'm sick of the same old dodge and parries that every other movie canabalizes from each other. Blade 2 gave a much cleaner and more spastic approach to these scenes. It was meant to be tough to focus on, these guys are suppose to be "better" than human so to speak. Although I question how being bitten on the neck and becoming a bloodsucker/reaper makes one a karate expert...but what the hell. If I nitpicked either movie too much I'd find them both lame.
End all be all, Blade 2 was worth cash. I wouldn't spend more to see it again, but I feel i got my money's worth.
As for the "Black Panther," I'm willing to bet the studio is waiting to see how Daredevil does first with Chin Affleck. Otherwise, look for Blade 3 first.

Panthers, also called Jaguars come in a variety of colors: Black, Brown, Beijh, yellow with black dots, silver, grey, and light tan. There are two jaguars that frequent my ranch, and they are truly magnificent.
However fuuny person, the Black Panther being refered to here is the Marvel Comics Hero, the "Black Panther", an African King of a highly technology gifted tribe that fights evil under the guise of the Panther. I don't think it will make much of a movie, but when I was a kid it was a super read.
