Why doesn't  Robin Williams do comedies anymore?

Last time a classic "good man" character played the bad guy, the movie stinked. Remember, that crap with Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer?

I don't think this will be the case in this film.. or at least I'm hoping it won't.

'What lies beneith' was a good movie, what are you talking about?

Harrison Ford doesn't fit in villain's outfit, and so doesn't Robin Williams.

Yea, but you only find out he's the bad guy at the end so it's a neat twist. I agree about Robin Williams, he was going to be the Riddler in Batman Forever.

But even that would have made it a good movie.

Harrison Fords is good as a bad guy especially when you dont expect him to be.  In "What Lies Beneath" he is not really your typical bad guy, just a normal guy who gets himself into a f*cked up situation then tries to move on and be happy.  I thought he did it well.  He aint no American Psycho but that doesnt define all the bad guy roles.

He was originally going to be in Face/Off with Michael Douglas.

You mean "Faceoff: 20 years later"?

Should be Face/Lift: Before I try to make anymore Indiana Jones movies.

Yea, the original draft of Face/Off was set in San Francisco in the future and there were monkeys that operated the cable cars and smoked cigars. True.

Wait a minute, I speak some French... Prego Senoir.

Robin Williams is an actor from Julliard.  I think he's just as capable to do this as anyone else, if not better.  I doubt they woulda cast him if he sucked: Christopher Nolan is too early a director to care about star power, if the stars can't act.
