SAG Nominates Lord of the Rings Cast

(SCIFI WIRE)Ian McKellen and the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring were nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards, SAG announced Jan. 29. Rings was the only genre film to be singled out by SAG for its annual awards, which are widely perceived as precursors to the Oscars. The SAG awards will be broadcast on TNT on March 10.

McKellen (Gandalf) was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a supporting role. The entire cast of Rings was nominated for outstanding performance by the cast of a theatrical motion picture.

Among TV nominees, the only genre nod went to Anjelica Huston, who was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or miniseries for her role as Vivianne in TNT's The Mists of Avalon.

"A Beautiful Mind" will sweep up on all major categories while Halle Berry brings home Best Actress for "Monster's Ball."
Coincidentally, porn star Holly Berries will win Best Actress in the industry adaptation, "Balled by a Monster."  Go figure.

"Power Trip" a very interesting name. I disagree with your opinion Mr. Trip, I was part of a Chinese production last year slated "Small Boy, Great Will", and I am quite sure that it will sweep the awards this year at the Oscars. I will be there in seat number #878 with my date, the cute red headed boy from "Harry Potter". I am never wrong, you will see!

Jet was really good in Lethal Weapon 4, its clowns like Mel Gibson and Danny Glover who f*cked the movie up.  
And its morons like Mrs Jet Li wushu and her belittling comments on Jet Li's personal life that make him more popular. Thanx to you his fame is even more publicised thus making him more of a star than you ever will be.
