Ridley Scott commented last week he's been considering a fifth "Alien" film as one of his next projects, now he expanded on those remarks to The Chicago Sun Times.

Even Scott will have trouble with this franchise if he doesn't get a decent script. They haven't had one since Aliens.
And Ahnuld's comments are about as naive as they get these days. Action movies shouldn't have a moral code. If I want morality I'll watch The Royal Tenebaums again.

I wish people on this site would stop trying to put Skullfire down constantly, The world is full of homosexual people and if Skullfire is gay then everyone just needs to accept that.

That's not the issue. The problem is that no one could accept that if someone doesn't like you, you can't just think that he's gay because a different opinion makes you insecure of your own sexuality. You have to deal with the fact that I'm heterosexual and could be stupid at the same that, which doesn't lower your ego.

Dont worry Skully. Its probably just a pathetic regular Dtheatre resident acting as a shemp who is infuriated that you have a fan club and he doesnt. Anyone who comes to Dtheatre knows that you are the man and the rest of them get jealous because everytime they post they get ripped to shreds by about 100 random shemps. Largely because their opinions, their jokes and their attitude sux. They are just trying to even the score because they feel un-popular.
They might realise one day that they arent as popular as you because they are just envious, red-neck Americans whose opinions are only shared with each other.

those so called "brave taliban" f*ckers are actually being treated better than they treated their own people.
yet another example of people hiding and abusing the religous system they claim to hold so dear.
i hope the f*ckers fry for what they've done to their own people and for september 11th

Eh, yea... that's what I mean. You just go round telling everyone you're bi-sexual... They'll think you're really cool!

I suppose you would know what is normal because you are soo experienced with women. The chicks I know dig bi-sexuals, but more so for the fact that they are open and comfortable about their sexuality. Thats what turns them on. You are just jealous cos you couldnt make anyone cum, but I can make a woman or a man cum, at the same time.
Keep practising on your blow up doll.
Idiot!

My feelings on gay or bi-sexual people are the same as my feelings on religion, I have no problem with it as long as people only practise it within their own homes.

I love it when the girlfriend comes on to confess something to her boyfriend and it turns out she's a guy! Those suckers, I mean how stupid can you be? I'd never confuse a guy in a dress for a real girl. My girlfriend for instance, when you just look at her you know she's the real deal and while were on the subject I have to tell you that she is so HOT! And she's a great kisser too, she's got kinda a big Adams apple but she gives great head.

I've heard two different stories. One is it takes place on earth. The other is that it is on the home planet of the aliens. In the commentary on the Alien DVD, Ridley said in Alien 5 OR 6 would take place on their home planet. So, there are two possibilities. I personally think they need to just skip a #6 and make #5 on Earth AND on the native planet of the Xenomorph. That would make a very good movie.

sorry, does anyone actually have any further comments about the possibility of alien 5? i mean this inane deviation from the point, is highly entertaining but not incredibly relevant is it now children? so much for free exchange of information, the ability to learn whatever u want, and the oppertunity to have intellectually charged and stimulating debate simultaneously with people from dozens of people across the globe. morons. anyway, Id quite like to see ridley investigating the origins of the alien and space jockey race. I think he's the one director with the ability to undertake this project possibly with new blood in terms of actors and characters, cause to be honest i think ripleys got about as interesting as she's gonna be.

I'd like to see Alien 5 as a return to the original alien ship, and in deciphering the alien hieroglyphs (more of Giger's work), we learn where these things came from, then travel to that planet. Or find that they are a biological weapon created by the space jockey's species, but the weapon "hatched" out on them instead.

As for the second possibility, it's a little tricky; for the first one, remember that in Aliens they blew up the base with the colony on it, and I suppose the alien's ship too. I would say earth's the next target, because they're getting closer every time in every movie. I'll be glad to see an Aliens vs Predator story, like the arcade game with the same name.

thats better now isnt it kids? ok good ideas on earth, just dont feel it would be as interesting as a look at the space jockey race as they are at the root of the thing, the aliens Xenomorphs creators or at the very least using the species as a bio-weapon. its also an excuse to see how ridley could transfer gigers visual ideas on to the big screen given the capabilities of todays special effects. In alien i spent more time looking at the ship than paying attention to what was going on in the story at the time. i think a film on the homeworld would be intensely dark and frightening.... sorry about the "moron" by the way.
on the their own planet

It's very important to play this movie on the aliens' planet.
If you think about it.there are no attachments on earth...
Maybe you have forgotten that in the second episode, at the end of the film there is still the aliens' spaceship on LV-426.. so please don't do a mistake...choose this version.
Now the aliens' saga needs a clear attachement to the last movie, otherwise the popular saga will sink like the others films of second quality.
