Robert Altman today said he would prefer to stay in London due to the current United States President and his administration. He stated this after eight years of a president who brought nothing but shame and theatrics to the highest office in this nation. Finally we have a president in G. W. Bush who has integrity and morality.
I believe Robert Altman's ego far exceeds his talent. As far as I care he can remain in London for the few remaining years of his life. He is a joke and an embarrassment to the U.S. and to the film industry.

Certainly not in defense of the preztel industry's new spokesman but Altman is the same jackass that accused Hollywood of inciting the terrorists to fly into buildings and to kill people around the world. ?He is unbelievably naive OR really good at bad press for his latest uninspired movies.

I find it kind of enjoyable that people can criticize a gentleman for the way he makes a movie rather than the quality of his remarks to a subject only marginally less real.The essence it seems ,because a man is a poor shoemaker he would not know a good shoe even if it were projected into a soft landing.However to discuss the weightless character that diminishes the meaning of pride and manliness by his lying to protect us without the benefit of a tokens worth of any more ability than to dress himself is just a bit rich,like his papa.Thats republicans for ya rich and thin you just gotta pick your spots better jr.You go boy.

Bush is a disgrace to our country. So what if Clinton likes to dip his cigar? Doesnt everybody? It was the stupid American tabloids that disgraced our country. Bush is just better at controlling the media than Clinton was, they only publish what Bush wants them to.
Ever since September 11th we've been hearing nothing but promises and excuses by Bush. Has he found Osama yet? Has he achieved anything yet by killing all those innocent women and children? Now all he does is what most regulars on Dtheatre do, slang insults but have no idea what hes talking about or doing.
Altman is right, at least thats his opinion. I thought this was the land of the free but as soon as someone disagrees with the consensus that freedom is so quickly taken away. If Altman deosnt want to fall for all the propaganda in USA like the rest of the zombie nation then thats his choice, just like you decide that everyone who doesnt agree with you is a terrorist. For those keeping score or looking for an interesting psychological dissertation. Read further:
I am certain of two things about Cop-out shemp now. One, his life is as boring, if not more so, than mine. And second, this is the best part, he can't compensate for his shortcomings as a poor job performer, a husband and for the most part even a man.
In order for cop-out shemp to come to terms with these failures since his life has started to "inexplicably" crumbles around him he has begun to utilize Dtheatre as some sort of way to vent these pent up frustrations.
His posts prove these facts undoubtedly: I play him and he responds to the stimulus. I say he's unprofessional and he overcompensates by citing what it is he does with his day that's really only important to him.
I crack on cop-out's lover and he answers by degrading his wife?! AND best of all, he claims to get this "addiction" by his inadequate attempts at needling me. The fact is I'm the one having all the fun because I'm the one pulling all the strings. Tell me I'm not! I am Power-trip!
I own you, cop-out. You are a programed individual and unable to think for yourself. YOU love being led and told what to do. And I LOVE leading you around the Dtheatre like a dog.

Nobody from these countries would tell you that they are free, they just have been moved from one dictatorship to another. Im a black U.K citizen. I had nothing to do with the U.K raping and pillaging every other country in the past. Im sure my ancestors would have been victims to this treatment, Im just saying that I know racism and prejudice when I see it.

I would damn well like it if we all got along and made a better world. I haven't any idea why it benefits a country, nation, race or whatever to trash or take advantage of another. Lots and lots of short-sighted men out there. Honor our collective history and heritage for what it is, but lets not use it to fund our futures. Peace would be the ultimate answer to all this but unfortunately as long as there are super-powers out there looking to dominate the world (no names) there will never be this kind of unity or tranquility.
I disagree that most countries want to stay under British rule, that is definitely horse-$h1T. If thats the case then why has almost every nation including 3rd world countries like India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan even Australia always wanted to break away from them.
The British did a naughty thing by going around trying to invade everyone, now they are the ones being invaded by a army of multi-culturism. Fitting way for one of the most racist (or imperialist) nations to end up.
USA are more tactful in how they go about world domination but imperialist or supremacist its all wrong and will always end in war. Just look at the Nazis.

The problem with US people is that they only see "benefits" in their imperialist policy, but in human terms. They never take a look at the bad consequences, and it's because the government hide it from them; then the people believe what CNN shows them. If they want to watch real news (for example, the anti-globalization displays, the Social Forum in Brazil) then they could see that so many people (against US & UK imperialsm) can't be THAT wrong.
