It would seem as though Hollywood expected the September 11th tragedy with the onslaught patriotic war movies coming out within the next six or so months. Some seem cheesy and blatant propaganda films and other see like they'd be worth a gander.

Here is a list of some to look forward to:

That's all I can think of for now. All of them looked fairly well made and directed but I have yet to see reviews or criticisms of most of the stories.

Out of these 4 pictured I have only seen "Behind Enemy Lines". Due to it being a true story (1995) I think it is a pretty good movie and is worth watching, however I love movies, so I'll probably watch them all. I don't think the Sept. 11th Attack has anything to do with the recent bombardment of War flix, since they were most likley made before the Attack.

This is nothing new, we've been being fed war movies by the bucket full since the late 90's with the likes of 'Saving private ryan', 'The thin red line', 'U571', 'Enemy at the gates' and more recently 'Windtalkers' and even HBO's 'Band of Brothers'. I don't think Sept 11th has anything to do with it.

Your point is valid considering films take on on average about a year to make (shoot, post, market & distribute).  The above films were all shot pre-9/11... HOWEVER the trailer and poster  marketing campaigns are probably designed to inspire a patriotic fever because of 9/11.

Are you an idiot or just plain brain dead? War is not for you to even speak about, it is sacred only for the likes of Tom Hanks, and true heros like Sizemore and the very, very cute Matt Damon (yummy), you obviously don'yt know squat. Dumb Ass.
