(SB) - The estranged wife of Osama bin Laden has told Russian television that the al Qaeda leader plans to die at the hands of his elder sons on live television before he is captured by U.S. or British authorities. "And that will be the signal for a new wave of terror," Sabiha bin Laden added, noting that the terrorist targets include "the Capitol in Washington, Big Ben in London and the Eiffel Tower." The televised suicide would presumably occur on the Arab all-news channel Al Jazeera.

If it is shown on tv it needs to be on a pay for view channel and that money to go to a fund for the widdows of his evil doings. I know it'll be shown on regular tv every night for a while but we can't make this a sinsational event because he's everything the USA is not. Actually, wars *do* make money. Yes, they cost billions of dollars to fight. However, the revenue from this goes into the economy. The government doesn't produce the weapons used; they buy them from an independant contractor. This money is then flushed into the economy for the common comsumer to use. The government also sells war bonds, which increases its own profits. So, yes, a war does make money. It increases consumer spending and creates new jobs. Wars end recession, which is good news, seeing as we're in one.

Better than killing him would be to make him wear pink prison clothing and live on baby food. Not torture or going against his dietary habits. But think how hard it would be to keep the macho image up on a diet of stewed prunes and chicken paste while wearing a pink jumpsuit. I think that if bin Laden were put in any prison in the U.S. our cons would have a thing or two to say about him staying alive for very long (esp. if he gets put in Leavenworth - a *military* prison). In all probability, he'd be put in a protective custody section of any prison.
As for me, I'd like to see him commit suicide (or be killed by his chicken-sh*t sons) so we can clearly show the world what a pussy-coward he really is... But give me more than a film canister. Send me a body. Hollywood fakes this stuff daily.

To the person who said War Makes Money... you certainly know your history. Those that don't believe this to be fact, don't take my word for it, research the results of the stock market over the last 100 years just prior to and during wars.
You will find from your own study that war-time economies are *very* strong -- strong enough to pull the country out of recessions (as in 1941, and as in 1991).
And we're not talking about the U.S. alone. The military build-up by Nazi Germany prior to WWII was one of the most efficient economic periods in German history and pulled them out of the huge recession they were put in as a result of the accords signed in the Treay of Versailles after WWI. So even in the case of evil, war makes money.

Of the possible scenarios there really isn't a good win situation. If you kill him he's a martyr. If he kills himself he's a martyr. If you imprison him he may get killed by the other prisoners and become a martyr. If you imprison him and he doesn't get killed by the other prisoners he then becomes the focus of all terrorist hijackings (release bin laden or the hostages get it) until he finally does die in prison (and becomes a martyr). If you let him go he organizes more destruction and becomes a hero.
Really I think the best solution if the US soldiers find him is to kill him in secret, bury his body in an unmarked grave in the middle of the desert (or acid wash the body clean of evidence) and then never tell anyone about it period. Then the a$$holes who want to follow him don't know he is dead so can't claim him a martyr. And he is safely disposed of with no more terrorism in his name.

What I really want to see are the people who support Bin Laden and his organization all this time USA were trying to get him... because I think another country was at his back. Here I tell you all the rumors I've heard (I don't accuse anyone): Japan or to destroy US economy and rise his own, Israel to justify his actual attacks to Palestine State, UK to regain the first place of most powerful country in the world, Russia to get the payback from the Cold War, Irak with the same reason but from the Gulf War... and some "dark elements" in USA to revert the country's recession.

My sincerest sympathies for those who lost people they knew in Sep 11th. For those ignorant people who are sitting at home playing with themselves and talking all tough about how much of a pussy Bin Laden is, you have no idea. I sat in the dark and read the countless coments on Bin Laden, so very few of them made any sense at all. War DOES earn money, he WILL be a matryr and we cannot stop it, the US has been a bully for far too long. Us Americans feel we are on side of truth and justice because so much is hidden from us. I personally feel we should look after our own peoples and allow the rest of the world to make it's own mistakes for a while. I am sure all of these radicals have jusification in their minds for their acts, some maybe correct. However there is no reason at all for killing so many innocent people then hiding away and calling the victims cowards! Lets all settle wars in a humane fashion. Let the freakin politicians who make the decisions to push around other countries strap on weapons and go defend those decisions. Why ask thousands of others to die because a few greedy people were bribed into killing foriegns citizens? I think Mr. Bush would rethink his stance if it was him going to fight, and I am darn sure that Mrs. Bush would stop most of the stupid crap before it even happened! Lets make those truley accountable pay the price, not the average Joe who just wants to watch football and get some tail on occasion. All sympathies to ALL the families who have lost loved ones. Being a former Navy SPECOPS in Vietnam, Several thing will happen, in my opinion. First, there will be no capture, think of the hard time the SPECOPS team would have trying to get him out. Secondly, they are trained at this sort of thing, they will either take his head, (for dental records) or his hands, (for fingerprints). Why are we Americans so arrogant and self-righteous? It is probably true, the attacks were probably Americas fault and some savage claim for justice by the terrorists and a lot of people have died not just now but over the decades and centuries because of the "kill em all" attitude that has plagued our supposedly peaceful and civillised nations. i see enough violence in my neighbourhood, I dont need to see our country promoting any more violence or injustice. Ive lost enough people I know to the same attitude thats going to see the destruction of not just our country but the rest of the world. Killing Bin Laden (even if it is on national TV) is not going to do anything but put another terrorist leader on our "Most Wanted List". I think we need to address the real issue thats plagueing our great land and that the governments quit all their seedy, secretive operations and money makeing economical deals that result in our innocent friends and relatives being victims of terrorist retaliation. Michael Moore is a really good writer on 'perspectives'. You guys should check it out before you bring more violence into the wolrd.

I had the most wonderful dream last night.I walked out to my doorstep,picked up the Florida Sun-Sentinel and the headline read "BIN LADEN CONFIRMED DEAD;BODY EN ROUTE TO U.S." I,for one would gladly pay extra tax dollars to fund the effort to make that headline a reality.That's my two cents.
