Oh, Corky Ramano must have made about $25... for the three times you probably went and seen the stupidest comedy made in the last five years.

I thought "Monsters, Inc" was great but saying it's "one of the best" that Pixar has made isn't saying that much. They've only had, what, four features?

Monster, Inc was a fun movie! I bet it'll be in the top 10 for 4 or 5 weeks. Parents will take their kids to the matinee to see it again.
I also seen 'The One'. It took a little getting used to the computer enhancements, but not a bad movie.
And as for Corky - it was a good movie - funny-, but it's so three weeks ago!
I remember when new movies came out a couple of times a month, now there are 2 or 3 a week! It's hard to stay in the top ten.

I agree, and I think it may be just three features including this one. However, the reason I don't think that this is "one of their best" is because Pixar has been churning out solid work for years with their creative short films and CG software development.
The animation teqniques they employ are simply second to none in many areas and in most if not all they are considered to be in the top in their field.
Wow!
What I meant to say was I loved the picture, it was a really great movie and the animation was superb! I'm sure it will make tons more money.

A Random Shemp is the given name to a Dtheatre customer that does not want to register. If you were to register you can give a moniker or your real name with a fake e-mail address or a real one. Monikers include: Bexley, SciFi Guy, All Knowing, Gunther, Mets Fan, Power Trip, Loath, Undead Chick, Spidey and perhaps the most famous and oldest Dtheatre posters Fred Hater & 100% AMERICAN, whom most of us do not like. AMERICAN has had flame wars with groups of pissed off Random Shemps before from many regions of the planet, including: Germany, the U.K., and right here in the good ole U.S.A. After some time Shemps, registered but did not want to lose their Shempness, so they call them selves names like: Shemp # 1, Original Shemp, Shemp Shemp, and Spider Shemp (famous for being a proud homosexual). Many registered users however will not speak with Random Shemps at all. It is much more enjoyable to register a nick name here and give your real e-mail, so as to forge friendships with other users. Of course with every site come a few jerks, this site has it's share including: RED, TINY, TWAN, Union Jackie, DYAN, The Nazi Shemps, The Shemp Union, and various others. All in all, a Random Shemp is not a bad thing to be, but here at Dtheatre it's better to be registered. See you out there.

The real question is not whether Monsters, Inc. was good, but whether it made 65 million on the first weekend because it is the first little kids' show to come out in a while or if all of you Star Wars geeks bought tickets just to see the "Attack of the Clones" trailer.

Both! I can't wait for Star Wars and I wanted to take my kids to Monsters, Inc before I even knew about the trailer. A real double treat for me!
Loved the movie, but the trailer was more of a tease.

Don't forget the Digital Theatre staff: -X-, Acheron, Antialias, EJ, Farina, Jack, Killbot, Loath (you got him), Nika, Nstraps, Power-Trip (you got him), Rockesq, Techieboy, Wonko.
You may note that most of us are lazy bastards who don't do anything anymore.

Thanks for the info. I'm so glad this wasn't a Three Stooges-groupie thing. That was the only Shemp I could find!(and I'm not diss'n the stoogies either)! I sometimes found it hard to follow Shemp comments before I realized there were more than one.
OK - Thanks again !!

If you have a Multi-region DVD player then you can at least buy US discs over the net before they're even out in the cinemas in other countries. Charge your friends to come round and watch them, that's what I do.

Yes, like I'm gonna buy every movie that looks good in the trailer just to say: "OK, I didn't like it, get my back my u$s35 plus shipping costs".

Go to play247.com, they're cheaper than in the shops on there and there's no shipping costs. Just get the movies that you know your gonna like.

Ok. I win this discussion by telling you that I live in Argentina (can locate it on the map?), so I have to pay the shipping costs anyway.
But thanks for the effort of typing those lines.

That's ok, and by the way, I've managed to spot Argentina on the map; it's right next some crazy country called U R GAY!
Good luck in the World Cup.

U-R-GAY!!! Very funny! Too bad you get F Up in Geography class.
By the way, you are the one who will need luck in the World Cup if our teams crosses paths, even if you are from France!

Nope, England I'm afraid... don't say anything, you were lucky last time. You'll probably beat us again if we play each other, though.

The Falklands? Fuk that man, nothing there but sheep! You can keep it. I will bet on Michael Owen scoring against you again if we meet though.

To be honest, he isn't all that bad. When we beat Germany 5-1 he luckily fell over and stopped the ball going in the net.

If he played the game against Deportivo La Coru?a, the Arsenal probably could get a tie.
In the other hand, I don't know if they could have defeated Manchester.
Remember Zaragoza's goal, in 1994? Nice.

Did you hear Arsenal beat Man Utd 3-1 last Sunday. Seaman and Richard Wright were both injured so they had some guy called Taylor in goal. Barthez gifted them two goals- funniest thing I've seen in ages he's such a clown.

Barthez is a very giving person, with all those beautiful gifts called goals on your own.
Deportivo La Coru?a, Bolton, Arsenal. Maybe you go to the Theatre of Dreams and score him too...

Well well my friend, it looks like England and Argentina will meet in the world cup after all. Which two do you think will qualify for the second stage out of Argentina, England, Sweden and Nigeria?

Beckham and Owen are currently considered two of the best players in the world but we've got loads of other fantastic players you probably haven't heard of yet, what about Steven Gerrard, Joe Cole, David Dunn, Alan Smith, Owen Hargreaves and don't forget Paul Scholes. I know you won't have heard of many of them but by the time the world cup comes around you will have.

Shearer quit international football after the last Euro championships but is still banging in the goals for Newcastle. As for Gazza, he's been fighting alcoholism the last couple of years but seems to have got it back together recently and is playing quite well for his club, Everton. He still loves England and is one of the most patriotic players we've ever had so on that basis alone I'd like to see him in the world cup squad.

I like him more than Beckham, whom, by the way, could stop shagging with Victoria and start playing with Veron, otherwise United will continue to lose incredible games. On the other hand, it fits OK in Arsenal plans.
Question: do you like Derby's argentinian defender, Horacio Carbonari? I love that guy! I remember his amazing career in my country and can't understand why his team sucks.

I think maybe it's because of the language and the english way of play that argentinian players find it hard to adapt. As for Veron, he's also inconsistant in our national squad, but some other players are too.
What's the problem about Beckham? Didn't you have sooo many good players to replace him? After all, he's easy to stop for a defender.
His shots aren't.

Everyone has his mouth full of Becham, Van Nistelroy and Veron when it comes to Manchester, but they forgot about people like Keane, or Giggs.
My God (excuse me, Big Dude), he's one of the best left midfielders in today's world! Even I know how to stop Beckham, but who can chase Giggs?!?! If he played for England instead of Wales (didn't Platt does both things, Qualify Season to Italy '90 for Wales and then the Cup with England?) then Owen could score more goals.

Well, legend has it that years ago Ryan Giggs played for England schoolboys but the team coach, Ray Wiltkins told him he'd never make the full England team so he decided to play for his birth country which was Wales. Biggest mistake in history, if he'd have playing for England these last 8 years we'd have definately won either the world cup or euro cup by now as our weak spot is left side of midfield. Who better to put there than the best left midfielder in the world. Ray Wilkins should burn in hell.
