Toy Story didn't make any money? Where the hell have you been hiding? It's obviously not my favourite movie in the world, but it made a killing at the box office. Know what you're talking about before you say something

I fully agree. Pixar is the pinnacle production company for the genre they produce... (although Dreamworks "Shrek" came close to topping "Toy Story").
Is Pixar cutting edge regarding storyline? No! That's not what they're about. To say that Pixar sucks just shows how ignorant you are.

Another parallel I forgot to mention, George Lucas once owned shares in Pixar, (before it was Pixar).
According to a WIRED Magazine interview, Lucas owned shares in Industrial Light and Magic. ILM was getting a lot of business, both in "computer animation" - ie CARTOONS, and "real life animation - ie T2. The company decided to sell their Cartoon animation equipment to Pixar, and focus solely on real life animation. Lucas, I believe, is still very involved in ILM.

Ya know, if you can't see sarcasm, then you really are setting yourself up for some hard knocks at D-Theatre. I warned you nice.

Well, I guess you guys can stop your pitching and moaning about the intellectual inferiority of the Star Wars sequels; their target audience apparently falls in the 8-14 year old range.

I am a college student and the majority of people I know had seen Toy Story at the movie theatres when it came out. I don't know if the target audience for Monsters Inc. is as low as you think it is, but most people I know are going to see it at the theatres too.

Tiny, you dumb-ass, that's a fan made trailer. Gabriel Byrne and Christopher Walken aren't in Episode II, the shot of Sam Jackson is from "Unbreakable," and the army of Jedi rushing into battle is really from "Braveheart," with lightsabers put in. That trailer's been around from months, I saw it in February on iFilm.com.

saw monsters inc and the trailer on the weekend...in my opininion, this is pixar's best work to date, right down to the short film before the feature...
as far as the trailer goes...woulda preferred some of john williams soundtrack score rather than the sound of vader breathing...this has no place in an episode 2 trailer unless anakin does indeed don the mask at the end of this installment...is this supposed to happen?

Well guys, no more worries, you can now see the trailer for Episode 2 at the official Star Wars site. You need to be a member of Lucas online to see it, but it's free to join and only takes a second to do. Also you need Quicktime 5. So hurry up to get your Star Wars fix at

Both the Toy Story movies made loads of money! plus they were actually pretty good, which you would know if you'd gone to see them.

I thought the Starwars trailer was pretty good, since it was only a teaser trailer I can understand why they didn't opt for a blazing John Williams soundtrack (that will probably be on one of the later trailers) however i did find the Darth Vader breathing a bit annoying, maybe he should learn to breath through his nose.
