The first one sucked so much that it won't be hard to make the sequel better.  Hey who knows, maybe Stallone has finally spent some of his money on acting lessons.

The new Judge Dredd will only be great if Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as the lead character.  His nuanced and superb performance rescued an otherwise pedestrian film.  Stallone must re-sign to make this Dredd shine!

JD 1 was a truly BAD film.  It was a standard buddy movie, and didn't hold true to the character at all.  I mean JD would NEVER have let that perp go in the end, whether he helped him or not.  The LAW is the LAW.

I think Stallone is perfect to play such a monosyllabic character as JD, they just need to keep the story true to the comics.  DON'T GO WITH THE HOLLYWOOD FORMULA YOU MORONS - WE'RE BETTER THAN THAT.
