I saw "Bandits" and recommend it as a pure getaway movie. BB plays a character that made me laugh so hard I almost peed myself, so it can't be all bad. In addition, I've yet to see a movie that I disliked Cate Blanchett in, so there's that going for it too. And there is also Bruce Willis, who plays Bruce Willis in this movie. What a surprise. I'm not a Bruce Watcher, so I could be quite wrong, but I can only think of one movie that featured Bruce Willis playing someone other than Bruce Willis, and that was that one with Demi in which Bruce is Demi's best friend's wife-abusing husband, who is stabbed by Demi when he tries to rape her. Then, rather than waste a potentially mortal wound, the two women drive around for half of the night until Bruce's character bleeds to death. This is either: a) a side to Bruce that he does not often display in public, or b) a genuine character played by an actor. But that's another story.
Go see "Bandits" if you value a mild, non-threatening opportunity to chuckle, but don't go if either you lack a sense of humor or if you have recently had abdominal surgery. In either of those two cases, you probably wouldn't enjoy yourself much.

You're thinking of "Mortal Thoughts."
Top seven tolerable Bruce Willis who is not playing "Bruce Willis" Movies:
7: Unbreakable
6: Die Hard
5: Hudson Hawke
4: Mortal Thoughts
3: 12 Monkeys
2: Pulp Fiction
1: The 6th Sense
I tried to come up with ten--just no way to do it. They're in no particular order and I'd only waste time watching half of these again anyway.

Ah, yes, "12 Monkeys," I'd have to agree with that one. I was so blown away by Brad Pitt's performance in that flick that I forgot to remember that Willis was as close to excellence as Willis has gotten so far. Cool show, I think I'll go rent it right now.
