I know someone who was working there at the time of the accident.

Sueing the company which produced the vehicle which toppled over is wrong. The people at the site were using the wrong equipment for the the jobs they were doing. It would be like asking a Yugo to act like a tank. It is not equipped for that duty and shouldn't be used as one.

The people responsible for this tragedy are all the supervisors who gave not one care to safety on this set. Numerous people complained yet noone would enforce safety rules. The accident was a result of poor planning and delays due to rain which forced the crews to work faster and not wait for the proper equipment.

you can sue for anything nowadays. criminals sue their victims for f*cks sake. everyone wants easy money.
