The latest installment of the on going making of Star Wars came out on the 14th. Check it out. Great footage of SFX for Episode II and George Lucas being locked out of Industrial Light and Magic.

Should'nt talk about your mother like that. He made science fiction movies and special effects what they are today. Show some restraint, and respect.

look, can't you dipsh*ts who have nothing better to do than spout off your negative bullsh*t find something better to do. If you guys hate Star Wars, Spider-Man etc...
why do you waste so much of your time discussing it. Leave the discussions for people who actually enjoy and look forward to seeing the movies. You'd think that after the eye opener we got last week with New York that you would wake up and see that life is too short to waste on anything, especially negativity. I am tired of coming here every day to get my latest dose of movie info and hopefully find some intresting people to share that common intrest with only to find some unthinking oger's half witted crap. It just brings me down. If you don't like Star Wars, or whatever, find something you do like and persue it.
Make yourself happy and feel good about it. Enjoy life and spread positivity, life is too short for anything else.

Talk about a dipsh*t. You'd have to know Fred's way of thinking to know that this is exactly what he meant. Who cares if Lucas produces anything right now?
Fred's just a nice litmus test for a reality check. What have you contributed that is positive lately--sure wasn't your post on this thread.

You know what, I am a dipsh*t. I was out of line with my reaction to Fred's thread, Sorry Fred, sincerely. I don't even know you and just lashed out. I guess that we're all a little sensitive at the moment and my responce was uncalled for and outta line. No hard feelings I hope. Please accept my appology and may the force be with you.

WAKE UP! Movies are shot sometime years before they are released. So your and/or Fred's points make no sense. I agree with the previous comment that life is too short to waste it on negativity. You have your opinions, but I for one don't appreciate the immature, vulgar language. That is a sure sign of ignorance.

If you care so little about this topic, why are you even discussing it? Lucas was the pioneer of special effects. Star Wars was years ahead of it's time. He is a brilliant movie maker and director.

George Lucas and his contribution to movies, myth and special effects have had a powerful influence over who I am today and what I aspire to achieve. His stories and his ability to realize those stories and to share them with so many people is what inspired me, he opened the doors my imagination. for this I will always br greatful. So now, as I did when I was a kid, I will sit back and watch with amazement at how he does that thing that he does so well, and hope that I too can give to the world as much as he's given me.

I agree with what you said about Lucas, "Star Wars" was brilliant. Of course the over whelming majority of movie goers were disappointed with Episode One. I have a lot of faith in Lucas that he can redeem himself with a truly spectacular Episode Two. Everyone makes mistakes, that's why they have erasers on pencils.
