"Amazing" costumes is a stretch, they were OK, I have no ideal why they would be thought of as amazing. It was just regular clothes.
My cat's breath smells like cat food.

Oh common! Jodie's bag doesn't match her shoes! Outlandish! Innovative! Cutting edge! I'm in awe of the eyeware as well... Surely an Oscar nod is in order...
Man, I know movies this year suck, but with the last several posts, I'm not seeing much on the horizon to get excited about either. Isn't there at least some "Jay and Silent Bob" controversy with the Pope? Hasn't Jolie got a new piercing or something? What about Jim Carrey doing "The Jack Lemmon Story" with Anthony Hopkins co-starring as Walter Matthau? Anything?
Anyone...?
Bueller?
Anyone...?

Here is some interesting and contraversial news for you.
Please Hammer, Don?t Hurt Us
Former rapper Stanley Clark Burrell, better known to his many fans as MC Hammer, is set to make his big screen acting debut. Hammer, who has had some mild experience in front of the Camera will star as a Gangster-Rapper with a bad attitude who finds God and realizes he must go back and correct all of his past mistakes. Little Hammer, as he was called when he was a bat-boy for the Oakland Athletics, feels that the knowledge he gained through performing will be all that he needs to make good on his second dance with Hollywood. "I was there, I was on top of the world. I sang and I danced for millions of people. I?ve looked success in the eye, and I want to look at her again." Notorious rapper and close friend Ice-T who has a long line of acting credits to his name will make his directorial debut. The controversial "Cop Killer" who wrote the script feels that Hammer is perfect for the role. "He knows about success and failure. He knows about redemption, and he knows what it is like to step back and look at the big picture. Sometimes correcting the past is the only thing that you can do to right the future." Shooting is scheduled for spring 2002.

They have got to be @%ing kidding about this! Are they crazy?! Maybe it will co-star Kris Kross, Third Bass, and Curtis Blow. I guess after that news about Men at Work II anything's possible....

You think that's bad, what about:
Will Smith Preps '9 to 5' Remake
By ABCNEWS.com
Move over, Dolly Parton: Will Smith is planning a remake of the hit movie 9 to 5 with an all black cast.
Smith is planning to produce a remake of the 1980 workplace comedy with a trio of black women that may include his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
The original starred Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as disgruntled secretaries who kidnap their sexist and abusive boss so they can run the office themselves.
We can only assume there will be a hip-hop remake of Parton's hit theme song for the movie. So when you wake up in the morning, stumble to the kitchen, it looks like there may be a new reason to pour yourself a cup of ambition, if we can borrow from Dolly's lyrics.

You're right that is bad. I really didn't think it could get much worse than a rise and fall redemption movie with MC Hammer. Who knows, maybe Battlefield Earth II is on the way....
