Bruce Campbell. Need I say more? Perhaps if you're not familiar with the Evil Dead series then you only recognize this guy's face. Because deep down, everyone knows Bruce Campbell.
His new book, If Chins Could Kill - Confessions of a B Movie Actor, tells all. If you've have no idea what Bruce is all about or if you can recite the lines from Army of Darkness, there's something interesting in this book for you. It has more than you ever thought you could know about how Bruce grew up and became the cult icon he is today.
I had the fortune of meeting Bruce in Santa Barbara, CA in June for a brief interview. The small comic book store was a nice venue for this sort of thing. I was looking for a followup when he visited here a little while ago, but Powell's - the city of books - was PACKED. Here's what I got:
Me: Well, congrats on the book. What's next?
Bruce: Time to rock the world selling my book.
Me: What are your plans for world domination?
Bruce: I'm starting with the book.
Me: I first saw you when I was much younger in a theatre watching Army of Darkness. The whole experience changed my life forever. Should I be worried?
Bruce: Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.
Is the essence of Bruce Campbell not overpowering!? Just say yes and buy the book. By the way, I've got an autographed copy of the 1st AoD comic book. We're looking for some promotion to give it away to a lucky DT member. Look for it in the future.
Buy the book:

Nut Sculptor and me and Freddy are gonna see him do a presentation of his book at a Borders in San Demas on September 21st. I'm really excited not just cause he's the greatest actor of our generation, but also cause he's sizzling hot, I have a poster of him above my bed (all Random Shemps do), with any luck I'll pick him up and live happily ever after. Then again he's probabbly not into guys.

I think they should cast Bruce for the next Superman role, he could pull it off, he's got the hair, the attitude, decent build, and of course the chin

You & Allknowing a.k.a. Nut Sculptor. If you get that comic, you are the coolest guy in the whole wide world. Even cooler than Ritchie Rich!

That's solid comment. Bruce would make a great Superman. Now lets hope Warners can come up with a decent script--for once.

a decent script wouldn't be like Warner.
besides Bruce can run with any script and make it golden.

I agree with Chuckles here, Bruce has never had a sour performance, even in stinkers like "Congo".

It's because Bruce has bigger stones than 1/2 the punk asses in hollywood combined.
Most of the movies he has been in would have instantly torpedoed the careers of lesser men, but with Bruce the legend just grew.
By the way, who is that twerp sitting next to him?

bruce is the one actor in hollywood that knows his fans love him no matter what bullsh%t part he plays, and yes he always gives a solid performance, just look at the "line of fire" not exactly what you would expect from Bruce but he was great in them,
Superman needs Bruce, it would bring life back in to the idea, which at last check was hitting bottom every week, we as the random shemps need to help pull the fans together,
we have the power if we try, anyone interested?

Did anybody see "Cool World"? The caped cartoon character at the end of the movie was about as close to Superman as Bruce will get. He would do the character right.
