It goes to show you how a trailer can make a difference. The trailers for AP2 were brutal in my opionion. They stirred no interest in me. In spite of that I went to the flick none the less. It was fantastic. They added new gags that you didn't see in the trailer, and that you may not have even seen before period. American Pie 2 did what a lot of sequels could not do, it lived up to the hype, and more thatn that, it riveled the original. It just might have been better.

As far as any movie trailers are concerned, there is nothing better than trailers that give away too much plot and plot twists--they're mini-movies that I don't have to waste real money paying for.

from what I hear, the Princess Diaries is good, old fashioned, wholesome entertsainment. good. mayber if it does well, people will make it more often, and then the directors who want to direct creept, offbeat stuff will get back to that, leaving the mainstream to the fluffs. It's a depressing thing to see a good, quirky director sand away all their rough edges tjust to sell with the mass entertainment.
