Note from Jack: I have not deleted the very disturbing and incorrect post from "Strick9" only because I was not aware that it existed until some concerned readers alerted me. I have decided to leave it there now because it's a chance for everyone to see that some people do stand up for their morals an convictions and this is what makes our little community great.
I appreciate all of you who alerted me that this post was there and I also appreciate everyone who told him off. It's very difficult to moderate all the comments that appear on these boards (there are several hundred to a thousand a day) as I have 2 jobs because there is no money at all in this site. If you see something that's there that really shouldn't, let me know right away.
Thanks and keep enjoying dtheatre.com

Forget Lucy, I can't wait for the cameo by Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P. Maybe he can try to recreate some of the magic he oouzed in the 1985 classic "Dungeon Master" starring Richard Moll who's thespianism was best displayed in the television sitcom "Night Court" where he played the role of the loveable baliff "Bull".
If Lucy's performance is anywhere close to that of Blackie's or Bull's than we are in for one wacky episode.

oooohhhh....
what if they worked in a secret love affair between, xena and scully,
I can see it now..
after Mulder left Scully becomes depressed and lonely..
fragile and vulnerable
enter Xena....
to make all the pain go away...
marketing genius..
maybe they will make posters with Xena and Scully together, for the womens prisons of course...
They had to come up with something to grab ratings again...

Boy, those of you who are making fun of Lucy Lawless are in for a shock. Lucy is an incredible actress and The X-Files is lucky to have her. Her skills in the acting field are many, Xena was a part she played, and she played it well. (grinning because X-Flies fans are in for such a treat and they don't even know it)
Lucy Rules!

I agree with the last post made! Lucy is an awesome woman with amazing talents, and those of you who are saying those terrible things about her are just angry because one of your favorite characters is leaving and you don't have any power over it. Believe me, we've all been through it. But you're gaining someone special. We lost Xena, and now you're gaining her. Be happy about it. Give her a chance and you'll see what talent she's got!

ohh you are one sick puppy !
You are in for a rude awakening.
Lucy Lawless will knock your socks off with her acting skills. It's what the X Files needs to pick itself up. I have been a huge XF fan since day one but after the crap they dished out as a season finale I was about to call it a day and not tune in again.... having LL join the team, all be it in a temp basis, has made me change my mind - for now !

I knew there was a reason why I never could get into X-Files. If the show attracts people with sick humor as strick9, we would all be better off without X-Files. I hope strick9 is just an aberration of X-Files fans. Give LL a chance before riding her off, then again, don't because she'll win you over anyway.
Not all xf fans aare sick!

I'm a huge x files fan and can't wait for Lucys appearences on the show. I was hooked as a Lucy lawless fan when I came into my sisters room once while she was watching xena and asked, "Who's that?" after that moment...I never looked back... GO LUCY!!
And not all Xena fans are stupid!

No, I don't agree with Strick9's comments, but to say that Lucy Lawless is the "best actor" in the world is ludicrous. I look forward to seeing Gillian Anderson kick Lucy's bimbo butt acting wise.
The only reason Lucy's a "star" is because she slept with the producer of her stupid show.

O.K.--Gotta say--I hissed out loud when I read that last post (I know it sounds strange, but I did) LL may not be the best actress in the world, but come on, Gillian Anderson?!?! Can we say wooden? Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge XF fan and I love Gillian's work on the show, but jeez, folks! Lucy is gonna kick a** on the new eps and I can't wait to see her.

Wooden? Compared to the horrible acting of Lucy Lawless, Gillian Anderson deserves Oscars. Lucy is so wooden, she should be designated as a tree.

Lucy is a wonderful actress,(who's Gillian?)
If she's that redhead I think she's boring as an actress! Lucy is nothing like Xena. To me that takes acting to pull off. Like I would have never dreamed she had that New Zealand accent. And Her eyes show so many emotions, you'd swear she was really feeling them as Xena.I will always be one of her biggest fans no matter which show or movie she moves onto.
