The top ten films for the weekend, according to studio estimates compiled by Exhibitor Relations:

1.	Legally Blonde	$20.3 million
2.	The Score	$19.0 million
3.	Cats & Dogs	$12.0 million
4.	Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within	$11.5 million
5.	Scary Movie 2	$9.5 million
6.	The Fast And The Furious	$7.8 million
7.	Dr. Dolittle 2	$7.0 million
8.	Kiss Of The Dragon	$5.8 million
9.	A.I. Artificial Intelligence	$5.1 million
10.	Lara Croft: Tomb Raider	$4.0 million

It is a shame, but I don't think we will be seeing any more Square films any time soon. The bad showing of FF will surely pose as a road block for future animation films of this type.

Legally Blonde took 1st place at $20.4 million followed by The Score leaving FF in 4th.
That's because Reese Witherspoon is the hottest piece of ass in hollywood. End of story.

What's really impressive here is that Lara Croft is still in the top 10, regardless of all the negative press it's gotten.

i totally agree. I found myself sexually aroused by the little green goblin thingy, so did my boyfriend. It triggered off the best sex we've ever had!! Now when we go 2 make love, i visualise Shrek. It makes me aroused with desire and then we make love, Shrek style over the TV.
I sure hope they bring out Shrek 2. Does any body else experience this???

Here in NYC we have this lounge called V.I.P., where there are hundreds of women at least as hot as Lara Croft, and yeah I'm sure that they are all "fake", ( that's a good thing ). So just cause she's enhance is this movie, certainly does not mean that physically perfect women do not exist. They do, and they work very hard, and pay a lot to look that way. A man can certainly appreciate that.Women too.

I just dont see the need in being enhanced when shes perfect enough as she is! True beauty comes from within and if u cant look past what's on the outside then thats a pity.

Jolie thinks of others before she thinks of herself. Before the movie she's pretty cute, but not capturing the Lara Croft "Look", so she makes the change for the viewing pleasure of movie fans world wide, and of course to keep with the accuracy of the character. Do I need to look at the inside of a character in an action movie, hell no!

To Mrs. Jolie:

Your doing a super job, and just cause Sian is a little insecure about your portrayal of Lara, don't let it bother you. For your next role might we suggest Betty Page.
