Kiss of the Dragon is for kids

My kids, Steven 5, and Jeffery 7, like to see these fun action movies, and Jet Li's film will be no exception. Kiss of the Dragon is full of fun and exciting action, and my kids will love it. They thought that Atlantis was a good flick, and there was lots of action in that too, so whats the big deal with this one?

I second that motion... I guess the thought of blood gushing out of the head part(eyes, nose, ears and mouth) was close to the part when they figured out that Atlantis was near "Iceland" not "Ireland".

I'm curious, did Jet use his knob like he did the fire hose in "Romeo Must Die" to beat up some chicks? (As reported earlier on dtheatre)

you are a moron shemp, if you take your kids to see this highly gory movie they wil be awake in your bed for a week. a cartoon written for small children is fine for small kids, but aan R rated movie with blood comming out of every hole in someones head, a man being blown in half, and two chopsticks being shoved into a persons neck is not suitable for your children.

Bravo Jet! It is just too bad that the movie, although large as it was, did not have the star power to draw bigger crowds. The only money it will make is from Jet Li die hards, and unfortunetly there are not enough of them right now to make a difference at the box office. Maybe Jet should rethink turning down roles in movies like The Matrix 2 & Crouching Tiger. You can shelf this flick with the likes of Black Mask as a Jet Lee cult classic.
Anyway, it was f'in fantastic, and definitely not for children.

This movie like all Jet Li movies sucked. It was boring. Jet can't act for spit. His martial Arts may be real, but even Van Dam is more exciting and that's a low blow (no pun intended). The only people that like this one are the few Dtheatre Shemps that are in love with Jet Li. Jet couldn't be in big budgets flicks like Matrix or Crouching Tiger cause he does not have an ounce of acting ability, and cause he's scared of Keanu Reeves.

Good ideal Random Shemp:
The movie is called:
"58th and 8th" after my neighboorhood. It will star Me as me, Fred Hater as Goldy the tough talking Landlord, Tiny as the Anti American Skin Head, you as your pathetic self, Jet Li as the serious pussy who's always getting his ass kicked by Diane Lane: the lewd talking cab driver, she'll also play my love interest. Special appearences by Pumpkin Guy, Jack & Acheron, Sodaboy, Peace Frog, Walking Dead, and undead chick (wherever she is), also Mark Hammil as Luke my Boss. It will be directed by Oz, and produced by the 100% American never went to college fund. I can't give away anymore, but I can and will remind everyone here that JET LI IS LAME AND BORING, and that this random shemp wants to have his baby.

These guys know me, cause we've been chatting here on Dtheatre for quite some time. You get to know peoples writing styles, and I've joked and fought with most of the regulars here. I'm only serious when the issue is, and rarely will I spar with a SHEMP, however I just don't like this kid, and I really do find jet Li to be a boring and poor acting fellow. I think Jack is either toking a wee bit too much reefer, or is watching Jet Li films, which accounts for his comment.

good one 100%, we don't take no shyt from punk ass shemps around here.
hey shemp, if you need a hero look under L for Lee as in Bruce, the ultimate martial arts superstar. Jet is a wannabe, plus he is old and his skills are diminished

Some of you people must live rather sheltered lives because, blood and guts is a part of reality; and to hide kids from it cause them to think that the world is a beautifull place, which unless you are oblivious to the truth you know it isn't. But I guess most of you must be tree hugging vegitarians. So have a nice life based on no semblance of reality.

Sh*t Head:
If by "Sheltered Lives" you mean the United States, then yes, you are correct. "blood and Guts" may very well be an everyday occurance in lawless places, and in countries torn by war, but since we are neither of those, but the single most powerful country in the world: where law & peace rule, then of course we don't want our young children to see a gory movie. I take it by your moniker that your Russian, so you may be subject to a violent world, here in the U.S. however that crap doesn't fly. Peace is our way of life. Get used to it sonny.

Why would an American soldier name himself after the Russian Capital Building...hmmm...makes one wonder if your a serious liar. Regardless of our democratic society, we are at peace and have been since WW2, I guess you've been sleeping. Where does your commie remark fit this discussion, I take it your about as bright, as you are mean ( labeling other Americans: Tree Hugging Vegetarians ), so much for your patriotism. Scum Bag.Your return comment makes no sense, I'll bet you are either a teenager who's pissed cause you can't get laid, or your another angry Canadian that just likes to bad mouth America. Either way we don't care Gremlin: America, Love It Or Leave It!
Stay in the Gremlin, that's where you belong!

Thank you for your wishes for a nice life. I am happy to say that I have never witnessed the blood and guts portrayed in any action movies. I am sorry for anyone in the world who has and hope for the best for everyone. I have never hugged a tree, but I don't think it has anything to do with extreme acts of violence.

You are so right about sentences beginning with capital letters. May I point out as well that the word "your" is a possessive. When one wishes to contract the words "you" and "are," one uses the word "you're." Also, it is considered rude to call other people names and sling condescending remarks at them at all. When you make mistakes (and obvious ones at that) it completely blasts your credibility. Finally, American or Russian, Commie or Cool, we are all here to discuss movies. Please return to the subject.

Well gawd damn. Here I was miles away from America, enjoying my life in a peaceful world of beautiful people, with beautiful skills such as Jet Li.. and I have the misfortune of stumbling on this site. SHEMP, American 100% (my commiserations) and all of you ill-educated, blinkered, narrow minded and spineless pondd life, please go get a life and stop attempting to build your self esteem by being an 'oh so clever' 'patriotic' a--hole online. Go talk to some real people, go and become national Wu Su champion, then maybe I'll give a sh*t what you think about the effects of cinematic violence on youngsters, the merits of Jet Li, and what a wonderful country America is as it still [produces a load of white trash ignorant muthas like you. Death to Bush and peace to those with respect. We don't want your Star Wars program, your MuckDonalds or any of you other pinnacles of cultural exports. sh*t, you mongrels, you have no history and still think baring guns are a right when your own kids shoot the sh*t out of their classmates. And your patriotic?! I'm off to question some things more worthy elsewhere, enjoy your brainwashed existance and life being a 'tough guy' online. f*ck me! Takwe care and wake up - I'm off to enjoy my life

100% American? Ignorant a**hole. Yup, Van Damme won an oscars for Double Impact, no wait... or was that the fat guy with a pony tail.
Keanu Reeves... yeah I remember seeing him fight. Didn't he knockout Mike Tyson in the second round? Or did he get one of his balls bitten off?

Well said... I think the 100% American ran out of cacky remarks. I wonder how peaceful things are in America now with all those terrorist attacks and all. But I suppose all these arrogant rednecks like Hellskitchen are too smart to see that coming. Just like he would see Jet Li's foot coming swiftly up his ass, but then again everyone on this site knows how full o sh*t Mr 100% is cos he likes to talk so much... like most proud Rednecks. ;)
