Here's a story contribution from one of our readers:
Listen to songs about Tolkien's trilogy, by Acoustic Rock artist, Alan Horvath. Songs that tell the story with lyrics and melodies from the heart ... songs that truly say something, not only about the story, but about Alan's passion for Tolkien's work.
"When I heard Alan's 'Lord of the Rings' project, I thought,
'This is something special' ... he's a great writer."
~~ David Bowie
"I love Alan's vocals ... "
~~Bernie Taupin
"There is a special aura about artists who take their visions to the highest pinnacles of success ... I get very excited about the magnitude of the aura I see, when Alan performs."
~~Bill Aucoin (Mgr. KISS; Billy Idol)
Please take a moment to consider helping a sincere (independent) artist gain the exposure he deserves. Listen to Alan's pre-release mp3s from his first in a series of EPs titled The 'Rings Project:
Sneak Previews from Vol.1 | The Fellowship:
The Ballad of Tom Bombadil
At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
The Nine Riders
and
Sneak Previews from Vol.3 | The Return:
The Road Goes On and On
Frodo's Song
They are all here:

I agree with you on that point, the music is rather dull.? But the movie should be great!
